Yeah a Quantity surveyor I think. I think his dad runs a multi-million type revenue building company. I could be wrong though.

I doubt he'll reach a higher level and he'll probably take beatings in any of the meaningful bouts he could land; I think it would be a good move for him to call it a day and make use of his opportunities outside the ring.

Of course he went and proved me wrong by getting a world title shot
But I maintain, the guy is domestic class at best. I'm not sure anyone will be able to do any more with him than Frank did
Well he didnt really. He just got gifted an amazing opportunity he hadnt earned on merit.
I know, I was being sarcastic mate.
The guy's not even close to world class

The thing is he does not come across as an arrogant person and I think he knows he's nowhere near world level , never in a dull fight either so I hope we see plenty more of him .

Remember Eubank telling him "You're next Buglioni" at the Eubank/O'Sullivan press conference. Obviously a difference in weight and now neither has a permanent promoter but I think there's still some decent fights out there for him.

Cant see him ever doing that personally. He seems Area level to me.

I thought he gave Chudinov as tough a fight as Sturm,Fedor clearly won both fights but Frank has reasonable power so you never know, his popularity might be enough to get him a Brit/Comm shot

I thought he didnt win a round personally and still lost the following round after sucker punching Chudinov after the bell had gone. However as is always the case with boxing and sport generally, it's a matter of perception and we all see fights differently which I respect.
I agree though that he could definietly get a shot at a Brit/Comm title and I guess he could win it depending on who he fought for it. There's some pretty shitty africans out there who he could fight for a commonwealth title.

I had Chudinov beating Frank 119-106 and Felix 117-112. He dominated each of them but put a worse beatdown on Buglioni.
FB has heart, but past area level I don't think he offers much.

Just checked my scores i had Buglioni losing 119-107 and Sturm losing 116-112 so maybe Felix was more competitive than i remembered,i do remember Frank showing trememndous heart and as Lefty says got the KD after the bell which was a bit iffy
Just now i would have to say Buglioni is maybe English level but with his heart and decent power i wouldnt rule out winning a Brit or Comm belt, all depends who he faces mind

Respect to Chudinov actually. I thought he showed a great chin to even recover from that knockdown. He went down really heavily.

I loved the way Chudinov just got up & walked back to his corner as if nothing had happened. Proper cool character.

Fedor's brother Dmitry showed a superb chin in the Eubank Jr fight too,i dont think ive ever seen a fighter ship so many power punches without going down before it was eventually stopped

His corner and ref was a disgrace as Dmitry should have pulled him out 2 rounds earlier, he was not in the fight after 6 rounds and was really taking a lot of punishment and Eubank jr was shocked it hadn't been stooped I remember.
If Buglioni does go up to LHW he could really get hurt as he has an awful defence and they don't feck about at 175.

Domestically light-heavy is a poor division.
I can easily see Buglioni winning a commonwealth or British title.
I'd fancy him against either Shinkwin or Burton.

Agree with this. Think the comments that he's no better than area level are a bit harsh.
Not much domestically at 175 as you say, and even at 168 the likes of DeGale, Groves, Murray, Smith are all past domestic level. Someone like Fielding or Cox might fancy a crack at it and would probably beat Frank, but I definitely don't think a British title is out of his reach, especially at light heavy.

Harsh when he's drawing with Rory Markham and having wars with people like Andrew Robinson? When has he shown himself to clearly be above area level?

Harsh maybe the wrong word. But what have Burton or Shinkwin done to prove they're above area level? One of them is winning a British title next week. No reason why Buglioni couldn't do the same imo.

I really don't think any 'Area' level fighter would go passed a round with a World Champion
Definitely capable of winning the British, even European champion isn't the strongest at Light-Heavy, clearly the World Champions are elite and no-one really stands a chance, but Braehmer is probably the more reasonable target.
At 26 time is still on his side, was rushed with Warren due to lack of stable, headlining shows after 10 fights. Can go at his own pace now...
We shall see but I'd actually be surprised if he didn't win a British title.

With some clever match making a british title isn't out of the question.
Putting him in with braemer would just be cruel and really unpleasant to watch.

Match him against McKenzie for the vacant Commonwealth, It would make Eddie good money

Plenty of mediocre fighters go rounds in world title bouts, and Buglioni was largely a punching bag against the worst major titlist at the weight. He's already failed to get past Markham (who lost to Smyle immediately before and Blackledge immediately after), prior to that had a war with Andrew fricking Robinson, and I don't think his performances clearly show that he's better than area level at 168, though he's certainly received more attention than most fighters with his ability.

At 175 the talent pool is clearly weaker, so he has a better chance of proving himself at British level there, although I'd still probably take the winner of that fight over him.

Not signing with Hearn apparently, maybe Sauerland will pick up. Don't think the Commonwealth's vacant anyway.
