He has bad hands.

That should answer your question. He actually fought lots.

Both would beat him. Would love to see him talk trash to Crawford and rile him up. Someone ask Broner if he's heard of Crawford.

That being said, that should've been a draw.

Just seemed to me that Malignaggi as the defending Champion did at least enough to keep his belt through a draw. The best emphatic win that Broner has is either Allakhverdiev or Antonio Demarco he beat those guys in impressive fashion.

I agree. I think i had Paulie winning. The "she's just my side piece" line was more memorable than the fight though.

look, one big problem. the dude has no power. even his speed is overrated. his defence isnt elite too. to beat crawford you either need equal power like matthyse has or being super athletic like gamboa (who won the first 4 rounds and than made the big mistake trading shots with a strong puncher).
broner at lower weights couldve been dominant. uchiyama, rances, maybe rigondeaux, these kind of guys would have been good opponents. he is simply not powerful enough for top welterweights or super lightweights.
I disagree. He's 26 years old boxer still learning what he's got for tools. He's got plenty of power as Porter found out in the 12th round of that fight. When you knock down a boxer like Porter with a huge shot like that when the fight is already over on the scorecards and Porter was just trying to get through the round safely, that power. I don't believe anyone else has put Porter on the canvas either.
Everyone hates Broner so much and for good reason (he's a dickhead), they forget that the kid is 26 and hasn't taken the sport as seriously as he should. Imagine how much better this kid could get when he's gotten to this point with just talent alone? It's scary where the ceiling is on this guy.

The ceiling is really low actually and he will never amount to much of anything. The way he lost to Porter and fighting like a bitch and holding on for dear life was really pathetic. And let us not even talk about the beating Maidana gave him. He ran out of the ring and to the dressing room. His next fight is against a guy who cannot punch at all. He's a bitch and he really is on the downside. There are a lot of guys at 147 and he would beat none of the top ten.

I can't really argue with you. Broner fought like a bum for 11 rounds against Porter. He lost to Maidana but that was a VERY close fight after being knocked down twice. Lastly, i'll never stick up for someone that disrespects the sport and runs to dressing room like that after a fight. You can't come back from that and it's a cardinal sin and a great way to lose the most amount of fans in the fastest way.
But my eyes know what they see. Broner does some things that are remarkable int he ring. His speed and angles of attack are unique and he's tough little bastard that can take a punch. He doesn't belong anywhere north of 140 yet. He wasn't ready and it was a huge mistake to go up there. At 140, I think he can beat everyone on a given night. He'd struggle with Crawford but give him a tough night.
The big number is 26. He's 2 years away from his prime and he has 4 World Titles (i know, he's been fortunate and beat some putz for the belts). But it's all upstairs with this kid. He keeps his head on straight, he's a top 5 P4P guy IMO within 2 years.

Crawford would best him 9 to 3 at least maybe 10-2 and that is if Broner made it to the finish line.

I hear ya. I hope he takes the fight against Crawford. I know he will not but I would love to see it.
