Tough ask for Jupp he deserves credit for his effort. He took solid shots and was always trying to fight back.

I dont think Berchelt is anything particularly special. He punches hard but I think Martinez beats him if they fight.

Thought Berchelt put his shots together quite well him V Martinez will be a great fight.

Credit to Jupp though hope he got decent money.

Just watched it, a brave performance from Jupp in which he wasn't disgraced.
The Mexican was probably a bit too much, too soon.

Fair play to Jupp gave it a go his lack of power showed up big time at that level Berchelt was easily able to walk through everything he threw

Check out the ballz on George Jupp,sterling effort,nothing wrong with his heart or mettle he really gave his all but was beating by what looked like a great fighter

That was 1st time ive seen Berchelt and i was impressed,he seems to have it all offensively,mixes his shots up well,upstairs/downstairs/hooks and the uppercuts were 1st class,he also has a solid jab which he uses regularly and looks strong,obviously the 1st round loss raises questions about his durability but i look forward to seeing him again,he looks a better boxer than Martinez but can he take Roman's power??

I was gonna mention the defence

He parries shots "bang on the chin"

I really like George, seems very dedicated and seems very down to earth - but I don't think he has the skills & power to mix it up at world level... I know he is only young and he can and will improve and hopefully I'm wrong, very wrong, but I can't see him winning anything major...

Berchelt does put together some beautiful combinations and he's obviously heavy handed. His defense needs some work but he's still young too.

His style stance and they way he lets go of those hooks kinda reminds be of tito Trinidad.
