Kodi is the future. Sky will know that kodi exsists but cant do or problerly not bothered about it. Lots of people who make the addons/builds arent in this country. But even finding them is proberly an issue in itself.

ok for anyone that has kodi or is going to install it" ares wizard" is the way forward it allows you to install loads of different builds like the beast ,
there's loads of sites and youtube clips telling you how to install it but a lot of them give a wrong source address so when it takes you to "add source " type this in and bobs your uncle http://areswizard.srve.io/aw_zip then after extract from zip file

I use Kodi. Just found a build on Arse Wizard called Cellar Door TV which is great, much better than Beast etc.. Try it and let me know.

There is also a subscription based app called Ruya which give you whole UK & Eire Sky + Sport, plus all world sports channels in HD. USA, East Euro, Aus, NZ etc.. You'd never miss a fight again, and get to watch from a US commentary perspective which I prefer.

Ruya 2.0 it is. £25pm, or less the more months you take.

25 a month bit steep that. There are many very reliable addons of around 6-50 a month for over 200 sports channels.

I'm gonna watch the Brook bout and then cancel the sports package, it'll pay for gym membership and let's be honest, boxing fans have been shown no love from Sky and Hearn. I'm keeping allegedly, that is good value for money and I don't mind paying at all.

What's your mate got? I've got Kodi but it gets a bit tedious having to search for decent streams all the time which is why I haven't cancelled Sky Sports yet. My Tivo bill is ridiculous though, definitely need to do something.
I'm not sure the name of it mate. I'll ask. Sports Devil rings a bell? I have Kodi for my fire stick but it's only movies and TV shows I get, zero sports. My bill is the same. I'm with Virgin and I cancelled Sky and kept BN. I use my brothers SkyGo if there's boxing on at the moment. Just watch it on the iPad. Not really the same but it'll do for now. I keep meaning to get a now TV box and just get a day pass for when there's boxing on but I've never got round to it.
with kodi there's lots of different "builds" i've had it for a couple of years now and i've just realised you can get a lot more working channels than i thought stuff like sportsdevil is ok but there are much better ones "operation robocop" has premier league pass which shows every single premier league match in full HD or "money sports" which has every channel out there . if you look on youtube for "The Beast Build" it will show you how to really get the best out of kodi and it's not that hard to do and takes about 15 minutes .
Is there a particular build for allegedly? Downloaded operation robocop but can't find boxing

Just heard today that SKY are reportedly launching a new channel called SKY Sports Mix in June. See the below link for the thread about this from last year:

http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... &hilit=sky

Looks like they're pushing ahead with this. If they are it looks like some free sport, including boxing, depending on what package you have with them. Please note nothing official has been confirmed by SKY yet so we'll just have to sit tight and see what happens over the next 10 weeks.

Sounds good. Do you know what channels are showing the Olympics and the Euros? Someone on here said they were being touted to a Sky type channel?

Is F1 exclusively on 4 or is it doing the share with SKY like BBC did?

So after reading this thread I took people's advice and downloaded kodi. Ive added cellar tv and although I still don't know what I'm fully doing I have checked out a lot of channels and I'm really happy with it.

However if someone that uses cellar tv can point me in direction of HD sports I'd appreciate it.

Cheers
