I boxed Dale Robertson Both as Am an Pro. John Humphrey at 32kg on my 6th fight his 7th both of us unbeaten. He ended up a 6.2" Middle Weight. Mike Oliver From The U.S. Went to Heartpool to Box Isaac Ward (Commonwealth Super Bantamweight Title) but because i had boxed 2 days Previous the in Denmark the ABA wouldn't let me but i did box him as a Pro. Sure there is a Few more (maybe i shouldn't of had that last fight

, Need to get out my Medical Card and have a look through.

You were boxing at a high level there, Wilders was a very good amateur, so was Moon.

A pal of mine had around 60 am bouts. He faced Karl Place (very good), Matthew Macklin (schoolboy), Stevie Williams (very good), Steven Birch. He said the best of the lot was Birch.

Who won between you and John-Boy? He seemed a right handful in the pro bouts I saw him in. Tall, lanky and with quite a dig.
How many am bouts did you have in the end?

Cheers, met noel twice and got outfoxed both times, moon was probably strongest guy I been in with met him in ABA quarters and his body punches were a nightmare for me !

I met John Boy at a show last year. He's a big lad.

A mate from my old club boxed David Starie in the Ams lost Majority decision on club show (could have gone either way) then boxed him again in the ABA Eastern Counties finals a few years later & got KO'D, He also fought Dean Francis in the Eastern vs Southern Counties ABA'S & got KO'D. He also got robbed & lost a majority decision to Howard Eastman on a club show...
