Dorin is a boxer with solid pedigree with a good chin. And remember Gatti busts up....
I think it will be interesting, Gatti is a little overrated - Branco almost beat him.

But Branco was unbeaten himself and looked a very solid fighter. Definitely no Euro bum.
How many top fighters has Dorin beaten?

Yes, good point...none really....Balbi is Ok. Was robbed against Spadafora though.

If Dorin can digest Gatti's punch then he's in with a fair shout. But it's a big ask for a lightweight who doesn't bang.
And sure, Arturo busts up but how many times has this resulted in defeat? Despite all the wars Gatti has only suffered one injury loss, and even then he fought pretty well for 8 rounds with blood pouring down his face.

Ill be surprised if Doirn beats Gatti in honesty. Gatti late stoppage for me, too biug, too clever, too experienced and has a plan b if he needs to.

Gatti deserves to be favorite in this one, but I'm backing Dorin to spring a surprise. He could well draw Gatti into the trenches, and there's a chance Dorin could bust up Gatti's face.
And yes, can he take Gatti's punch? That's the big question. I reckon he can...

Not had a good look at Dorin, but I favour Gatti to outbox him at range. Gatti does have good power, anyone who can continually rattle Ward's cage has to.

If Dorin were not moving up in weight I'd have this a 50-50 fight. But he's going to get hit harder than ever in this fight, while Gatti has seen it all before.

I found the quote in BN last week very interesting.
After mentioning how good a boxer he thinks Gatti is Dorin goes on to say "If I'm not strong enough, what can I do?"

I said this in another thread: Gatti's not overrated. The most I've heard pundits give him is the label of good boxer prone to succumbing to brawling, which makes him popular. Don't confuse his popularity with being overrated. Maybe some fans spout some bullshit but the boxing establishment really only claims the guy's a godsend in terms of entertainment value. That he's got in spades.
If Dorin brings the game he showed against Spadafora and Gatti doesn't break his hand early, we will see fireworks. That will warrant high entertaiment ratings if not p4p ratings. And that's fine with me.

The undercard fight is pretty good as well Bojado vis Leija, Hope the Beeb
show some of that one too. Any predictions for this one I think it depends
how shot Leija is or if he is shot at all. I'll pick Bojado as the younger man.
