Who holds the titles??? How many posters do you think keep track of who holds particular belts in each division????

In each division? 4 belts x 16(?) divisions = potentially 64 belt holders. Christ, i can barely remember what i had for tea last night.
147lbs - Thurman, Garcia, Brook ...?

X2.
I hoped he'd turned a corner when he went over and beat Porter, but he's been treading water again ever since. I think the division is wide open for a fighter like him, I don't think there's any fighter out there right now that Kell should be massively wary of. I'd fancy him against any of the other top welterweights currently. I would love to see him fight Garcia and Thurman, if he gets his arse in gear he could unify the welterweight division as it stands.
I'd fancy him to give Garcia a right good hiding.
Big problem is Eddie Hearn wants him to headline ppv shows in the UK and whos going to come over to fight here?
Unless the money is right not many. I don't see why he can't go to the states for three or four fights. He could clean up that division and then they
have to come here. It's time for Eddy to either take him over or put his money where his mouth is and make the offers to get those guys here. Garcia is a win for Brook, Brook is too strong for him and way too good. Thurman is the danger man really but I still quite fancy Brook.

Pacquiao, Bradley and Khan all have better wins and better overall resumes, to dispute that would be ridiculous.
Thurman perhaps doesn't have a win that tops beating Porter in his back yard, but his body of work of the last 6 fights trumps Brook.
And considering he is now down to face Brooks best opponent, that doesn't need any further discussion about who has faced the better quality.
Garcia has beaten Khan, Matthyssee, an admittedly over the hill Judah and Morales. His last 5 fights have not set the pulses racing but there are recognisable names in there that boost his overall CV to a higher plane than Brooks. He's also a 2 weight champ.
Porter beat "legit champion" Alexander, beat Broner, fought Brook and now faces Thurman
Peterson beat Khan, an unbeaten Jean, Kendal Holt and has faced Gracia, Matthysee, Bradley and drew with Ortiz
Will Maidana fight again? He's got more quality on his CV
Will JMM fight again? see Maidana
I think Brook is quality and beats most of these guys (possibly hammers some of them) but let's not start comparing depth of resume, because Kells CV sucks ass!
Garcia's wins were at 140. Above 140 he has not done anything and he would get crushed by Brook I can assure you of that. You don't see Angel mouthing off about Brook cause he knows his son would get his ass kicked.
Maidana is retired by the way. Chino weighs somewhere close to 200 pounds these days. He is done.
A lot of the fights you are talking about were at lower weight levels and really do not mean anything right now at all.
I just think if you are gonna call Brook out call em all out because no one is fighting anyone. And Bradley an d Pac are weak right now. That is a garbage fight and neither of those guys are in the top tier of WW's for me. Pac is on the way out the door and Bradley is a nice hyped fighter by HBO squeezing every last drop out of an overrated guy. Nothing more.
I agree, he would pummel some of the top 10 rated welters, but you simply questioned their resumes.
You said compare him to the "the other WW's who have zero quality wins."
In terms of pure quality of opposition his CV is relatively weak and there are numerous examples of better wins and stronger overall records
I'd dispute the claim that he'd crush Garcia however. I've underestimated Danny more times than I should have, I think he's a live threat in the WW division
I would love to see Garcia get in the ring with somebody. I don't think he has been the same since the Herrera fight.

Eddie making too much money, and satisfying his contract with sky, having him on "home" shows in UK. PPV if possible, ramp up the £££.
I agree though, Comes a point where Brook should be pushing for US fights.

147lbs - Thurman, Garcia, Brook ...?
Plus interim, regular and super champions being thrown in there as well! An utter farce. I wish people would stop giving credence to them.

Walk a mile in the shoes of British fans, for years we had the WBU too. Unrecognised by hardcore fans, but sold to the public as genuine by tv companies. Ricky Hatton prime example.
Whats the answer though?

I focus only one the full titles and not the interim belts, as I classify the interim belt holders as the no 1 contender for that sanctioning body's full world title.

Brook would crush Bradley who was all over the floor against Provodnikov and got a gift decision. Then Bradley got a decision vs. PACMAN that was a gift. If brook ever fought this bum he would put him out of his misery. Bradley is nothing more than an HBO phony propped up for the weakest PPV event in quite some time./ If Provo rocked Bradley all over the floor what do you think Brook would do to him??

Against the other title holders I'd say
Garcia- I fancy Brook to win this on points. 116-112. Brook I feel would be to big on fight night for Garcia.
Vargas- again I'd fancy Brook to win this by late stoppage. I feel he's a level above Vargas who lost convincingly to Bradley bar the last 30 seconds.
Thurman- closest fight of the 3. Both would be wary of each other's power and could turn into a chess match. It would be very edgy but I'd back Thurman to win a split decision.
