Hope Robert is only doing this because he loves the Sport. I can understand that. Good luck Robert,

I figure Geale still has some solid wins in him at the higher weight. He's a decent fighter, was probably outgrowing the Middleweight division. I think he'll still be able to fight at or close to his best for another few years. Even though he was stopped by GGG and Cotto he didn't take a real severe beating in those fights he was taken out fairly early. I don't think there's anyone currently at Super Middleweight that would be able to take out Geale like that.

Dominic Vea also back on the same card after long lay off. His fights with Siale,McCracken and Cameron were epic. He took a lot of punishment during his career hope he doesn't get seriously hurt.

No sure I like the idea of some of these fighters coming back after what were plainly intended to be retirements.

Dom Vea is 35. Hasn't fought for 5 years and his last few fights were really brutal affairs.

The last local fights that Fox televised live, were a crock of shite, apart from the main event.

Maybe this was a case of once bitten, twice shy by Fox as that venerable pugilist: "TBA" is also down for 5 bouts on the card.

But most likely as the night of the fight is a Friday, and would be up against the live televising of the three football codes, and hence would be a very poor rating option for Fox Sports.

You can get into this fight for $50 and for $80 you can have a seat. A night out doesn't come much cheaper than that.

That's about the going rate for ringside tables. Barry Michael charges about the same.

These were the prices he charged for a card headed by Mitchell vs Benitez just recently:

General Admin $65 pp
Tables (No food or drinks) $100pp
Tables (With food only) $145pp
Ringside tables from $200-$350 per person (Fully Catered Wine /Beer & Food)

Yes look at how Tomlinson has struggled against mediocre competition since the Vargas beatdown. Geale might struggle with his confidence after he retired against Cotto and against a fairly handy(for a Aussie domestic level) fighter at a heavier weight. Quinlan-Carr was a good close fight Geale is a higher level than Jake but he may just struggle in this one. We will have to see.

Daniel Geale has sustained a foot injury necessitating his fight with Renold Quinlan to be shifted back to August.

If you know anything about the Geales ,Dans mother has been battling cancer, sadly Daniels mum passed away recently, you can believe the foot injury if you want, Daniel never publicly declared he was injured. You have your own agenda, ur a Ausboxing muppet that wants autographs
