Well Eddie Hearn has got to get a move on to put a cracking under card to make us cough the usual fee then.
That pic is a great find - it is not even on the Council premises register yet (https://licensing.liverpool.gov.uk/PAfo ... Search/892). The notice on the picture indicates anyone can make representations to the licensing authority about the proposed show. Cue letters about PPV prices, the quality of the undercard, the fighters over-promising at the press conference, and so on... :OhYes:

I'm not so sure that pic is 100% kosher.
Well, if not, it got me. It's a good piece of work if it isn't - has even got the writing going a bit wiggly to match the cable ties and general non-flatness. But I've been fooled before!

For whatever reason (AJ's next ppv show needs fleshing out), this one doesn't look like a goer.

It could be kosher, but who says it's actually related to Hearn/Matchroom? :geek:

Well that is something I hadn't thought of!!
Hearn mentioned it in his IFL interview today, they are for their show. Currently 50/50 whether it happens.

You have to be unpopular when, even starring in a Hollywood blockbuster can't get the casuals out to support you in your home town in a title fight

They would have to make the tickets dirt cheap and even at that they wouldn't even nearly fill it. The Matchroom propaganda machine will be working overtime if this one goes ahead.

Local rag says its on.

They'll all but sell it out. Dont forget this is the man who allegedly sold 18,000 tickets Brook Gavin and got 139,000 people to buy it on Ppv. Plus the scousers will turn out to watch their own.

Brook Gavin wasn't a sell out and most weren't there to watch those two anyway.

This scouser won't be turning out anywhere, the fella is a helmet.

Ever seen him wearing anything without an Everton badge on? The Blues don't even like him.

To be fair at the match on Saturday I was speaking about it to me arl man at half time and a few fellas around us not boxing fans were saying they would buy tickets just because it was at Goodison so maybe that will shift a few thousand to non boxing football fans going just cos its at Goodison!

The Echo Arena would be more realistic for this unless there is a big chief support which seems very unlikely. Bellew is going to get iced by Makabu as well.

Looks like its on the Sunday 29th May, few tweets from Coldwell etc flying around.

Decent weekend of boxing with the Glasgow show the day before, still can't see how it sells unless they shove the ring up in the corner etc. Then why not just have it at the Echo?

Very surprised if they've gone ahead with the Goodison thing. Risky, unless Kenwright has let them have it rent free.

Was just an off the cuff example of how fast Eddie can sell boxing to the general public like Arthur Daley can sell snow to eskimos. 400k ppv buys for Joshua Whyte! Charles Martin beyond the gloves programme convincing people Martin could win. Eddie has a hypnotic way. Mark my words, good is on will be bouncing
