I really don't know what point you're making. He has the incident with Lewis and hen goes on the rant at the reporter...

No, I was saying it was in part a reaction to seeing no fear in Lewis, and he knows he's no longer good enough to beat him. I've always thought he comes across really scared there, he's clearly in a terrible place mentally.

At least he's being consistent. Before the fight he was saying AJ was slow and ponderous. But he is so anti establishment that he turned Martin into some kind of boxing God which his supporters lapped up.

I like fury the character but he is always so close to the line of decency you never know when to watch or turn away. As for his fighting style it speaks for itself awkward but effective.

Fair enough, however intimating that Nigel Benn is racist (or only favours black fighters) is a little off the mark for me.

I can't see him as a racist (even tho he's admitted being homophobic). It's probably not really thought through and I think he probably has a bit of respect for Benn. He ought to. He's always going on about being a "real fighting man" whatever the heck that means.
I've seen similar outburts from fighters. Normally right after a training session (endorphins) or whilst they're watching a fight on the television.
But I do agree with the poster who said that as the lineal Heavyweight champ (or even if it was non-lineal) he ought keep just above gutter level.

i think the benn stuff is because he's now lives in austraila and over there there's no such thing as being PC and race is a bigger issue than it is here when i was there i was with a black english guy and a few times the aussies would just call him black fella not really as an insult more like "well your black and a fella" so i would of thought benn has become used to a black white divide that you don't get much here in england

Depends on the context. When there's a white guy fighting a black guy and the commentator distinguishes the two by saying something along the lines of "Sykes is wearing the scarlet red shorts, Oguhuru is wearing the ruby red shorts", I sometimes think FFS, is there not a more obvious way?
