He can't be that bothered can he? If he wanted to fight he'd have had a fight before now. And how the hell is he still the champion after three years out?

He's still the champion because his opponents duck him, not the other way around.

Surely the Board can find someone who is willing to fight John McDermott.

What about Dave Allen? His fight against Towers was meant to be an English title eliminator.

John McDermott gave the current undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson Fury his toughest fight to date.

Does that mean that John McDermott is better than Wladimir Klitschko? Some might say "yes".

Yeah I'm sure Dave Allen would take the fight. He was chanting about fighting Price who despatched big bad John in under the time it takes to cook an egg so he'll be up for it alright.
