He is probably even more linguistically dumb than Golovkin. He and his team understand importance of speaking English, but he isn't even trying.
Have you seen the Canelo/Khan PPV commercial yet? it's hilarious. There's all this dramatic music and Khan says something like "I'm ready" and Canelo says "LET's Do THIS" in the funniest English i've heard since Arnold Swartz. I just kept rewinding it and laughing.
Ha ha, I have seen this, very funny. It is complete ignorance that Canelo hasn't tried to learn English.
LOL..thank you. I was hoping that wasn't just my strange sense of humor that found that as funny as i did

Canelo is definitely leaving tons of money on the table for not learning English but i'm sure he's got more money in his bank account than he ever dreamed that he'd have from Boxing. Maybe it's a statement he's trying to make and his way of endearing himself more to Mexican fans if that's even possible. The kid's already a legend there.

True, but the kid is making money fighting in the US. Some of the biggest boxers in the World have used their grasp of English to further endear themselves to those fans. Pacquiao being a great example.

Errol Spence will be the best of the lot. Canelo most likely the biggest box office.

the thing many people seem to forget. arnold schwarz english was always bad, but at least he spoke the language. to make it big in the us, you have to speak english. canelo is already big, but with english and a litle bit more outgoing charme everything would grow, he is far from ppv numbers de la hoya or mayweather did. but this should be his goal. ww is booming with spence, thurman and possibly crawford. middleweight is booming with ggg. so there is great amount of $$$$ and hype around 154. and it is not about win or lose. look at oscar, he lost so many times, yet still was the biggest money maker for years.

i would like it that he goes to the more talent filled ww division.

technicaly he can hang with those guys, if he brings his power with him than it would be interresting.
Even if his KO power drops at Welterweight, I think he's good enough to outbox those guys.

i mean he is physicly even superior to a lot of ww guys, they also came from lightweight. timmy or jessie for example.

yeah thurman or amir arent technicle genuises, he can hang with.

brook, thurman, spence and crawford, that pool would make very high quality fights.
I think he'd outbox Thurman and knock out Khan

I think Spence will become the man, there's a reason all of these WWs are avoiding him.

I think Lomachenko is the most skilled by far
