It's one of the reasons why I'm surprised that Canelo would even consider this fight. He's really in a no win situation with this one. If he beats Khan, everyone will point to Khan's glass jaw and so what, you beat Khan. So did a few other people. But if Canelo loses or looks as slow a sluggish as he did against Lara, Canelo's stock will plummet overnight.
I've always enjoyed watching Khan fight and i think he deserves way ore credit than he gets as a talent. I am with the minority in thinking that this fight is going to be a classic and one to remember for a long time.
I hope you are right because I need a good laugh, but did you not watch Khan's last fight? Omg. I know that this isn't Kirkland or Anguelo he is fighting, who didn't have a chance because they had to lose 40lbs+ in a short time before the fight, but come on. Khan can't KO Canelo, and there is NO chance he gets a decision even if he can run all night. Wow.

Casual fans are blind. They thought he dominated Lara even though he followed the Cuban like a puppy trying to land on his body but mainly landing on his elbows. Even if he doesn't look good, they will think that he was great.
Khan will throw the fight - done deal - no way Oscar and GOlden Boy are risking Canelo in a real fight - Khan needs a payday and he's got it - loss at 154 saves face and then he lost goes back down to 40 or 47 - You're paying to see a sparring session which will be won by Canelo

You're right. There's NO WAY Canelo loses in a decision, i don't care how lopsided the fight is. No way Khan knocks him out either so I agree that Khan's chances of having his hand raised is a long shot but I still think that the fight can be a classic with a controversial decision. I think Khan has the type of hand speed to make Canelo look foolish. I had Lara beating Canelo but Lara blew it by running way too much. I can't see Khan running as much as Lara did but Khans got better handspeed imo so it could be a dandy.

I honestly don't know how anyone had Canelo winning that fight against Lara but i'll tell you what, I was so mad at the way Lara fought that fight that i was happy he got in the ass by the judges. If those judges would have rewarded him with a win while blatantly running the whole night, everyone would start doing it. But if you are judging that fight per the rules of boxing, it should have been a unanimous decision for Lara by a pretty good margin. IMO.

Very few could humiliate a fighter of Canelo's level like that. Everybody who can and is willing to run for the whole fight disregarding fans are already doing that, and they have big problems getting good fights.

well that excuse bites itself in the ass, doesnt it ? whats strawberry helmet going to do when he has to fight at the weight he suppossedly and claims to be champ at ?

Sadly I think you have probably nailed it on the head here. This fight is suspicious to me too

what naysayers , what has he achieved in pro boxing with his talent , he beat the Luis Collazo on points , zab and a young Maidana, who i think every one can agree Maidana got better and better until he fought Floyd. was not the same fighter that thought khan ,but i dont think khan has improved, changed not improved so just a good journey man in my eyes with a great business brain
