So that's GB with 8 boxers qualified for Rio, that is a superb days boxing by all involved.

1 per weight, very surprised we got as many through as we've done, although a lot of the stronger nations had already got a good number of fighters through, whereas we had none going into this.Looking On wrote:How many brits are allowed to qualify... we are up to 9 as things stand i believe.
Is it just 1 per weight division allowed ?
We have a fantastic system. One of the best in the world. It's recently produced a heavyweight pro world champ. No other national amateur set up can boast that.expe wrote:1 per weight, very surprised we got as many through as we've done, although a lot of the stronger nations had already got a good number of fighters through, whereas we had none going into this.Looking On wrote:How many brits are allowed to qualify... we are up to 9 as things stand i believe.

Just not been impressed by many of the fighters on the GB squad at the moment, a lot of them have looked average. Some of the selections have been baffling but it looks like they've got it together in the last 6 months or so.mickey1975 wrote:We have a fantastic system. One of the best in the world.
