The same with me. I thought Lara won, but he made the fight so boring. More importantly, HBO got the same impression. Lara made it even worse by not trying to finish journeyman Rodriguez. A hard bodyshot is worth more than a weak shot to the face. I don't recall Lara landing many meaningful punches in that fight at all.

That's how good the sport would be if there was only one major sanctioning body. Showtime and HBO wouldn't be able to dictate their terms -- they would just have to buy rights to televise those major events.
