His top wins are against average or slighty above average opposition, but has faced alot of less than average opposition. Pretty average, but also quite bad for a fighter of his caliber and age.

So, how is adding DeGale and Ramirez to his resume better than adding Canelo and Saunders ?
I have no problem with him fighting the guys at 160 and clearing out all the other top names. I just think that many of us continue to believe that that will not really stretch him to his limits. Persumably, DeGale and Ramirez would have built in advantages by virtue of being bigger along with being good. Let's face it, some guys are simply so good, that they need to give away a bit in order to be challenged. I was just driving at the idea that some fans want the drama of NOT KNOWING that GGG is going to go out there and KO his opponent. I am still pretty sure he would KO Saunders and, while I suspect that Canelo might do better than many think against GGG, I think he too would ultimately be knocked out.

On the other hand, maybe DeGale and Ramirez might be able to flip the script somewhat by being able to control the action more effectively by controlling pace and distance with their greater size and strength, or does Golovkin have the kind of freakish power and acumen that even against bigger guys he is still able to control the action and overwhelm his opponent? It's not so much who is the better fighter, but rather just how much can GGG accomplish in his career; just how good is he?

But to answer your question more succinctly, because I believe Degale and Ramirez are more impressive wins for Golovkin than Saunders and Canelo are. Do you honestly think the last two can beat GGG?? Is ANYBODY in the world picking them to win?? Oh wait, Bnovelist is.....damn. :OhYes:
