I really aren't a Brook fan boy but to say he's Euro level is just silly.

So if people think Brook will only last 3 rounds, then Shawn Porter must only last 2?

I wonder what Jose Cotto thinks.

I think Canelo and Brook only have two common opponents and they were both the same outcomes. I think Brook done a better job on Hatton but I never seen Alvarez v N'Dou. On the grand scale of things it means nothing really. Just an observation.

A lot may agree with you ,, But until he actualy fights higher level than what he's been doing , its really just personal opinion ,fair enough he beat Porter but did'nt set the world on fire doing it .

Brook's always struck me as a bit timid mentally for an elite level fighter. I think he'd walk to the ring for a fight against Canelo with the same look in his eyes that Martin had against Joshua i.e sheer terror. The occasion would be way too big for him.

He can call out Khan ad infinitum but I don't think anybody besides Eddie and a few fanboys are listening. Years it's been going on and Khan has said from the start "get some good wins on your record then we'll talk". Brook's 30 now with 1 half decent name on his record - I think he's a bit of a fraud to be honest.

Good point, he's older than Khan and has had one fight more than Khan. His career has been shocking really, it's especially strange as at WW I think he's up there with the top in the division right now and don't see any I think beat him easily. They just don't seem to fancy it.

Ironic that Khan tells him to get a couple of good wins on his record before discussing a potential fight when he cherry picked winnable fights himself to keep In the running with a fight v Floyd. Khan could have went and fought Broner, Maidana 2, Garcia 2, Berto, Cotto or many more big names and made pressured Mayweather into a fight.

I agree Brooks opponents have been poor but if he went and beat the kind of names that Khan is talking about then he elevates himself above Khan as a draw for big money fights and Khan would fall down the pecking order (assuming brook won against other names)

I too have wondered why Khan hasn't jumped at the chance of fighting Brook.

If Amir thought Brook was a walkover, he could have just fought the man; took the slightly larger slice of the purse & took Brook's trinket & put himself in FMJ's crosshairs.

He spent over year idle whilst trying secure a payday against a big fish, when he could have fought at least once against a top name.

I like Khan, but he is seriously deluded at times.

Khan's definitely made some odd career choices, I mean clearly, he's totally minted, has been for years now, but money aside, if he wants to put together a good end to his career, he's going to make some sensible fights.

He could have potentially fought and beaten Brook, made a packet, maybe even a rematch (barring getting sparked of course) - now his major route is a fight against a guy who already knocked him senseless in Garcia. It's not the easiest of routes back to the big time for sure.

I think at this stage, Khan's taking a risk facing anyone with a big punch, his career could end with a series of knockouts if he's not careful.

I think the fear factor will definitely have gone for anyone with a serious dig as they know they only really need to catch him once with a hard flush shot, and the chances are he'll unravel if they keep on him.

Would you not rather get in the ring and see who's the best? Khan is a financially motivated guy. If there wasn't any doubt in his mind over Brook I think he'd fight him in a heart beat. Personally if i hated someone I'd find it much more satisfying getting my hands on them and going for it.

The situation is oddly like Hatton and witter years ago. Brook needs to beat some names and take a risk as champion instead of fighting nobodies. The ww division has loads of good fighters there should be no excuses.

Canelo would ko brook aswell.

Hearn needs to get Brook a meaningful fight now.

Brook Khan aint happening either way.

brook doesnt seem to want to fight regularly or against anyone decent. he wants easy money and thinks he can bide his time fighting stiffs until the big khan payday happens. he sees khan as low risk. he proved in the past he doesnt like living the life and will quit after fighting khan if it happens. his promoter is also to blame and seems to have the same ethos of making as much money as possible with minimum risk and effort. then again i expect nothing else from a rich kid who has never had to scrap and scrape just to live

Brook comes across as a desperate wannabe, jealous of the attention Khan gets. He should grow a pair of bollocks, tell Eddie to get him a proper fight and be prepared to travel ffs.

You can say all you want , Khans been ko'ed ,, Khan has fought big names when there past there best , but the facts are HE DONE IT .. Brooks has'nt been ko'ed . but he has'nt fought Canelo or Garcia either . Brooks has'nt took the risk fighting 12 world champs , he's fought guys he could of beat in his 5th pro fight .

Brooks , promoter has'nt offered big money to get the 12 ex world champs in the ring , he offers Gavin and co paydays .. Facts are Brooks and Hearn have took the easy road and want the big cheuques on the back of Khan who love him or hate him , took the harder road .

Brooks wants that big fight why Khan why not Garcia , why not Canelo , after all Brooks his naturaly bigger than Khan . simple , one he does'nt fancy his chances and two , his promoter does;nt want to sopend big to watch him get beat .

Just a lot easier to sit back , mouth off and ride on the coatails of someone else who had the balls to do what he has'nt . Like someone else said , its just like the Witter and Hatton scenario .

The timing of Brooks tweet was classless and I'd imagine he probably is a bit envious of Khans status. He should forget about him and get Hearn to get him a big fight at 147. There are plenty of fights there to be made and if Eddie can't get him one then maybe he should look to relocating to the States if he does carry some ambition.

I do however think Khan overrates himself greatly. He goes on about himself in the third person as if he's one of the elite and it's been proven time and time again that he's not. He is marketable and willing to fight the best though so credit where it's due. As for Brook, it says a lot about his ambitions when he's desperately calling out a guy that's just been flattened! I'm a fan of his style but it's put up or shut up time from Kell and Hearn.
