Do you think your prospective promotion was a catalyst for the Egyptian Revolution? Should you shoulder some of the responsibility for the ensuing mayhem elsewhere in the region too, Libya, Yemen, Syria, etc..?

That was not me, that was Bush and Blair and their governments, the Rothschild's, the Goldberg's, Rupert Murdoch, Bejamin Netanyahu and his Israeli government, Mossad, The FBI, Abdul Malik Al Houthi, the CIA, Colonel Hamid Bekhair, MI6, The Royal family of Saudi Arabia and their government and Abdul Fatah El -Sisi and his government, if I have forget anybody ?

Stop passing the book, you're acting like a politician yourself. Your efforts to force a corrupt western professional sport onto Egyptian soil cannot be simply swept under the carpet.

Probably a Pakistan show with Amir helping things along by being the headliner as well....Amir has always been proud of that side of his heritage and it is a good way to make a comeback and get some longer-term, post fighting business plans rolling.

Pakistan is not a market to be sniffed at either - 180 million potential punters - not really touched by boxing before and only cricket really gets the crowds out. Don't even think footie is that big out there.

The wider boxing business is now taking a serious look at new markets and if you have a 'ready made' star that gives you useful momentum from the get-go...your shows get coverage/customers from day one.

Think Amir's missus and her family are very well-connected as well; so well able to get the authorities/media on-side.

Could be a fun and interesting - Khan v Brook in Karachi in 2017 anyone?

There's so much speculation on here that appears to be judging Pakistan as if it were the UK or a similar market - potential punters etc. Just bear in mind it's an incredibly challenging, complex environment where the cost of trying to do business can be massive. Even in more developed markets like former Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, viable professional boxing scenes haven't really emerged, with the result that fighters such as GGG, the Klitschkos and Kovalev have had to ply their trade in 'the West'.

As for the notion that Singh would fight in Pakistan... somebody clearly doesn't know their India/Pakistan relations or the current security situation in Pakistan.

He could fight him in India. Singh looks half decent so far. The guy he beat the other day was not your typical journeyman either. he came to win and would have troubled most fighters at Singh`s stage. I like the way Queensbury are not throwing him in with knockover jobs. It`s the only way to develop a fighter of Singh`s age and amateur pedigree.

He looks too open though and telegraphs his right hand a bit, but the guy has skills and could go places. What`s the rules about fighting for the British title? If he has lived in the UK for 3 years does he qualify?

I'll tell you what....if the Pakis have produced a world champion in ten years time - then Amir's will have been one heck of a legacy won't it? And Pakistan aren't averse to producing world champions in other sports so there's no reason why they can't produce a top, top boxer or two.

If there were stadiums......its mostly very small cricket grounds.

Went out there to a mates wedding a few years back it was like bloody beverly hills in islamabad.fantastic food and people.amazing scenery in pakistan

.the few women i saw in shopping centres were breathtaking....thefood and hotels were more lavish than anything in england im suprised theyre all still coming here with what they got over there!

It will be interesting to see how the show goes and if it draws a big crowd.
The show is BIBA sanctioned I believe.
I wonder if Khan will make the move into promoting over here.
