He was a better fighter under Roach. I think he has regressed under Hunter.

I'd say Reebok. He trained for the Canelo fight wearing Asics which, IMO, is an inferior brand. Might have cost him the fight.

Hes got bigger problems than his chin mate. He cant keep people off him. Hes predictible. The list is actually bigger than his assets.

your probably right although would be interesting to see what Booth or Gallagher could do with him

Gallagher would be more of the same mate. Booth would be interesting tho. You kind of need power to pull the booth style off for me. Like the ingle style you probably need to do it from young to get the full benefit of it.

Khan needs to pace himself first off. The problem is i dont think he can tho. Whoevers training him.

think roach has been a better trainer for khan as he has won more memorable fights and was more relevant , under Virgil what has khan done , what was the point of the saul fight for fans we know money ,we all knew what would happen and did , even his win against Chris Algieri was not clean and boring . under virgil all his his fights where hand picked in his favour the fans never enjoyed any apart from a washed up Alexander, khan was a very entertaining boxer under roach , big heart big courage toe to toe, like an old boxer, was nt worried about records ,it was about fights.

Its time to stop fornicating about with khan. Get him in with brook. Guys like that. Sink or swim time. Otherwise just gonna be a joke of a career. Hes kidding people on...scared of fighting brook porter garcia. Guys around their prime. All we get is algeri diaz or idiotic canelo fight. No lose situation. The truth is the guys unfortunately just not good enough.

Brook's the one with a joke of a career.

If only Brook would fight that quality of opposition on a regular basis, then he wouldn't be such a joke.

And Broook has fought who? I don't particularly care for his willingness to fight them, until it happens it doesn't mean anything.
It's like some one on the dole having willingness to get a job, until they get one or at least the interviews it means nothing

None, because he's the same fighter he was in 2005, no boxing brain whatsoever, predictable punching patterns, leaves himself wide open when he attacks. Good exciting fighter, lack of capacity to learn has been his downfall, issues with his chin are overrated because if he had a half decent ring IQ he wouldn't get hit with half the shots that send him wobbly.

Totally agree with this. His lack of intelligence is his biggest downfall, I''ve always said this, and yes, he is utterly predictable. World class fighters recognise the patters after a few rounds, and that's when it comes apart.

Agree james you and banjo totally summed it up.

Dont agree with the brook chat. Brook maybe even has the best win out the two of them. Or its up there with khans best win anyway. Thats exactly whats wrong with boxing well marketed fighters avoiding the real challenges. Khans definetely not the only one. But theres something wrong when you ve got boxing fans defending it.

I always thought Harrison would of been the best trainer for Khan.
His camp insisting on a big name trainer was the worst mistake they made.

Don't think he's beat anyone under Hunter that he wouldn't have beat with Roach. Molina, Diaz and Collazo were all either past their best or just not that good. Neither Algieri or Alexander were big punchers and both were at their best at 140. Not trying to discredit the wins, I just don't see any real improvement from when he was with Roach, other than being a bit more cautious.

Exactly right. Would he have achieved much less had he stayed with Oliver Harrison throughout his career? Doubt it

Who do you think Brook's second best opponent is? Senchenko? Carson Jones?

Carson jones. Followed by senchenko. Then jennings hatton frankie gavin. Mcintyre. Bizier. Jo jo dan. Etc.

No ones saying hes fought hall of famers. But got the oppertunity against porter and took it. I dont really get the you ve not fought a long list of big names so your not getting to fight me chat especially with a world title. Its silly when khan got knocked out within six rounds against garcia and canelo and brook beat porter. Especially when ones complained for about 5 years because mayweather wouldnt fight him when he was struggling past algeri and diaz.

Then accuses brook of doing exactly what hes done himself.

I think the difference is....its clear to see floyds on a different level to khan. Whereas brook looks about the same level as khan. If you asked 100 people you d probably get about a 50/50 split on the winner. The moneys on the table for it. British rivalry etc. Instead what we ll get is khan fighting easy pickings and trying to kid on hes elite by beating them.

Hes entitled to do what he wants with his career but boxing fans shouldnt be defending it.

Theres no real reason why not to fight brook. Because hes not faught guys khans level? Khans too good for him? It would probably be khans biggest pay day...if its so easy...beat brook then take the big money on offer.
