Re: Lebedev vs Victor Emilio Ramirez

Ola looked to have lost a step or 3 in his recent fights with Huck and VER. Too many wars.
Why wouldn't he "come to win"? It's a unification bout for Christ sake. If he loses it'll have have nothing to do with desire and everything to do with Lebedev being a better boxer, which the books clearly believe is the case.crow wrote:You're dreaming.Boxingtruth wrote:Lebedev wide on points or late ko.. Ramirez is tough, but the beating he'll take for 8 or 9 rounds could soften him up enough for a late ko.. Or the ref jumping in, Tko..
If anyone gets stopped, it's Lebedev.
I've never seen someone put a beating on Afolabi like Ramirez did. I would hedge it for sure, seeing the odds have moved.
If Ramirez comes to win instead of a paycheck (which is perfectly possible), it's anybody's fight.
Lebedev's the better boxer, but Ramirez is the better puncher.diddy wrote:

Ramirez is fighting Lemieux ? Poor Daviddiddy wrote:If you really look at the style matchup of this fight it really seems tailor made for DL. VER comes in straight lines. Lebedev is gonna side step him and pick him off coming in with regularity. Stylistically it seems like a straight forward fight for DL.
Well, Ramirez didn't decepoint me, unfortunately...crow wrote:Lebedev's the better boxer, but Ramirez is the better puncher.diddy wrote:

And it's not uncommon for fighters to just show up for a paycheck, title bout or not; England is their favorite venue, i believe.
Hedge is what i would do.
No.He got his ass handed to him.crow wrote:Well, Ramirez didn't decepoint me, unfortunately...crow wrote:Lebedev's the better boxer, but Ramirez is the better puncher.diddy wrote:

Guy begged to be stopped, at one moment even turning back from the action.

He was definitely hurt, but I know what crow means. Ramirez had some weird ass reactions when he was hurt like when he leaned down with his arms straight out, and then shortly after that he turned his back to Lebedev, and was steady getting attacked the whole time.lefty wrote:No.He got his ass handed to him.crow wrote:
