It's not a title fight since Briggs isn't in the top list of the WBC at all...

I agree it won't happen. It makes way too much sense to find a replacement for Povetkin.

Boxing is the ONLY sport that would not come up with a replacement.

I mistakenly typed WBA instead of WBC. Fixed in original post.

I think we will end up with competing lawsuits instead of competing boxers. I was really looking forward to this fight.
