I agree there will be a significant height difference. GGG was clearly taller than the 5'9" Lemieux and we all know Canelo isn't 5'9". 5'8" was my estimate based on photos, but I think he may be 5'7 1/2". When the two touch gloves, I guarantee the topic of discussion for commentators will be the surprising height difference. I mentioned it on another post yesterday which is annoying to duplicate, i know, but when GGG congratulated Canelo in the ring after the Khan win, GGG had to lean down to whisper in his ear his congratulations. This is a factor in this fight. There are some significant advantages to being the taller man. Some disadvantages as well but not as many.
People are so concerned about what the scale says that they don't even notice the height difference.
