I thought Selby was far from perfect - he moves his feet a lot, so occasionally gets flat footed on a counter punch (round 3 I think, he slightly stumbled), and of course, should have finished it before the 12, but my comments are minor grumbles (and I'm assuming his trainer is harking on about them far more than me).

If you aren't enjoying watching someone like him build a career, I doubt if you are a boxing fan.

3rd pro fight British title Wish they would get rid of this 10/20 building unbeaten fight record bollox, in the heavier weights and stick them in earlier, if their good enough then they will shine if not so what, start again.

The flyweight division is pants domestically, hence it's generally easier for fighters to move through the domestic scene (and more broadly the Euro scene, which is also pretty shallow) quickly. Someone like Kevin Satchell isn't a particularly good fighter in my view, but due to the regionally weak talent pool he was able to capture Commonwealth, British, and EBU titles within 13 fights, something I' doubt he'd be able to accomplish in heavier divisions where the British and European fighters are much stronger and more numerous.

If you look past the title to the actual opponents Selby and Magri beat the results aren't that impressive, although that doesn't mean the potential to do impressive things globally isn't/wasn't there.
