Its been a godsend for Eubank ,, he can sit on the side lines and paitently wait for GGG to beat Jacobs , destroy BJS and collect the belts , beating inferior opponents , whilst letting his dad do what he does best ,, Posture and talk shit ,, about his son fighting GGG . then when it happens and jnr gets beat ,, a rematch with BJS for a big payday before retirement ,,, unless of course he wants to hang around and wait for GGG to retire .

The middleweight division being so poor is incredibly frustrating. What I wouldn't give to be able to see GGG mixing it with the likes of a middleweight Hopkins, McCallum, or even Eubank sr.

I thought Eubank was the mandatory for Jacobs? Expected him to go for that fight first. Fair play if he genuinely goes for GGG though. He'd definitely try to make a fight of it until Golovkin inevtitably batters him. Eubank's good chin would be his worst attribute in this fight, no chance of winning and will mean he takes a lot of punishment before getting stopped.

I wonder if we could ever see a situation where GGG bases himself over here and adopts Britain as a second country similar to the Klitschkos and Germany. Despite being probably the most exciting and dominant champion in boxing he's still not earning mega bucks in USA and I think with the right marketing behind it I can envisage a scenario where he's adopted by the British public, sells out big venues over here and is exclusively PPV. As a stay busy kind of fighter wouldn't that make him more money than waiting around for mega fights to be made in USA ? I suppose he might struggle for enough quality sparring over here but if he's earning more he can pay em to travel.

It's a foolish little pipedream really but with potentially 3 mega fights for the UK audience vs BJS, Junior and Brook it'd be fun if it happened.

Just talk and more Talk ,, it sells tickets for his next fight which will be against another non puncher who's not up to scratch ... List to what BJ had to say he's been offered 2 world title fights and turned them down .

GGG beats every current Middleweight, you could match him with the entire current Top 20 one month after another and he'd knock 'em all out.

Eubank jnr will be his best opponent? Seriously? He's beaten a couple of good domestic guys who were probably European level at best. GGG has faced better opposition in his last few fights.

If you think this is ppv then I'm assuming this is only based on wanting to see GGG in the UK rather than it being a competitive fight

Eubank Jr. is a nobody outside of the UK.

eubank jnr is behaving exactly how a middleweight contender should behave and should be commended, about time we had fighters showing a bit of confidence in themselves

cant believe eubank jnr has the audacity to not only think he can beat GGG but actually openly challenge him to a fight when we all know that he should be targeting an interim crown and then defending it against a stream of overmatched opponents, what a nerve !

He needs to work his way into a fight like this, not jump from D class to A+++. Seems strange why they would take this approach.

I don't need a fighter to beat someone at world level to know that fighter is world level. I would have thought that was common sense. In my opinion Eubank is far more skilled than Lemieux and would beat him handily. Lemiuex got starched by Rubio and outboxed by Alcine.
