Some of the stories I've heard about promoters up here really boils my piss! Small time backstabbing rat bags. I don't know why any half decent talent up here would sign with certain promoters.

The obsession with money in boxing and boxers whinging that they don't get paid enough when they take home a 6 or 7 figure sum for doing what is essentially a hobby, try doing my job for a day. In fact this goes for any sportsman who makes a living from their sport, if you make enough money from your chosen sport that you can keep a roof over your head and food on the table then you're doing fornicating well.

keithmoonhangover wrote:My biggest niggle is....... posters on here slagging off promoters for not making fights/boxers avoiding people. These people have no idea how hard it is to promote fights.
People banging on about Joshua making an easy defence. Just because there are other people rated above his opponent, it doesn't mean they are available or interested. It ain't as easy as, "yeah, let's get him"... phone call.... "it's a deal."
I can't believe some of the people on here can claim to be boxing fans.
My other big one is... people watching BoxNotion on illegal streams. Pay for it you tight basterds. It's an amazing thing to be able to watch Crawford, GGG, Alverez, Ward etc etc. Support the game by subscribing.

Can't argue with any of that and would like to add:
People that complain endlessly about PPV cards, if you don't want to pay then don't but please don't start threads about it or continually complain that fights are PPV worthy or not.b if people buy it then its worthy!! Supply and demand etc

Like the wee guy that is always in Pacquiao's corner, making what I think is an attempt at a pacman with his hands.

Agree with this completely. Don't get me wrong, guys will duck one another because they know the damage a loss will do to their standing/future earnings potential etc, but never because they are afraid the other man might give them a beating.

People on here using the word 'pudendum' or 'pudenda'.
Its a rubbish word, sounds crap in a sentence and rather than making you look clever for using it, you end up looking like somebody who is trying to give the illusion of sounding clever.
Very annoying.

Eddie Hearn jumping into the ring in victory.
Bunce repeatedly talking over ring walks so as to tell us he won't talk over the ring walk as people complain to him about it.

This might not be the most popular but Buffer does my fuckin nut in! Paid an absolute fortune and doesn't even do the full card! Often gets names and home towns wrong! The worst is when he tries to set the mood with one of his cheese merchant stories! Fuckin cringe!
The Burns v Cock Feeder fight '400 years ago it was Rab rooy McGreegor'! What a cuntin plank!

Tip tap pad work made famous by Floyd.
Absolutely pointless yet everyone doing it now. Saw Anthony Yarde doing a few rounds of this down the peacock. WHY.

Bunce does it every time. It's actually quite funny at 3 in the morning.
