Hayes response.....

I think Bellew is playing it smart and headline grabbing here. He is not really calling Haye out as there is no way that Haye could drop 24lbs to make the cruiserweight limit. If he stepped up and faced Haye at heavyweight that would put David Coldwell in an awkward spot as he is friends with both of them, I believe.

I have absolutely no clue who this guy is, but I wouldn't be surprised if he would win against Haye, so I don't expect the fight will ever happen, no matter what Haye says.

If it happens it should be at heavyweight ofcourse, since that's the only league that matters.

I'm now starting to worry that this might be Haye Day IV in the offing!

All Bellew has to do in weigh in at about 202lbs & we have a fight.

I know Bellew gets loads of stick - and a lot of it is justified - but he's one of the only boxers who regularly takes a vocal stance against PEDs. The silence from certain other boxers is deafening...

If they could agree to a catch weight at "lower heavyweight" this would be another great publicity fight for David Haye, with more credentials than Briggs given that Bellew is a current champ actually holding one of Haye's old titles.

My main gripe about Haye other than the opponents has been his weight - maybe Haye v Bellew puts the onus on Haye to be trim and in shape.

If they really could make it happen, it's one we'd all be talking about for a while.

What I don't get about troll accounts like asdfjkl is, why would you actually spend time logging in to pretend to be a dumb jerkoff? What's the psychology? It's weird.

Haye's clearly used his extended holiday from the sport to buff up to relaunch his HW career with the kind of size he needs, and may well have done it using whatever substances he wanted to use, since he wouldn't have been subject to any testing.

Bellew is at a huge disadvantage weight wise and no amount of "eating" could have him ready within the next few months.

Nobody was expecting Bellew to fight Haye though, so if Bellew is going to call him out like a clown then he should fight him at HW.

I checked after I posted, there's like 8 threads on the front page dedicated to Bellew. Surely even the most casual of fans would click on at least one to find out who the fvck everyone else was talking about? So yeah, I think troll is most likely. Fair play if that's what gives people enjoyment, but not how I'd want to spend a bank holiday weekend!

There is no other fight I could think of that I would enjoy watching more than haye v bellew.

The build up itself would be class

I'd pay double the ppv price for it as well

I also think it's an easy night for haye but I've been wrong before.

Well there's a lot of stuff out there that can't be tested for, but that's a different story.

I wouldn't expect the match to happen in the next few months, but sometime next year would be good. Bellew could gain 10 lbs in that time Haye may lose a few.

Anyhow in the HW division, there are far bigger weight discrepancies than Haye vs Bellew and they are the same height. So what if Bellew may give away 10+lbs by the time they fight? Haye gave away 37lbs against Chisora, 32lbs against Klitscho and 99lbs against Valuev.

I'd like to see the fight happen anyhow.

Would be akin to WWE wrestling but the build up and the fight would be entertainment
