What's your source on him stopping Kovalev? They fought once that I know of (the 2007 national championships) and Beterbiev won 25-24.

I would love to see a four man tournament with those fighters, although if Kovalev-Ward comes off I think the winner will be a pretty clear #1

One of those things either someone had said or I'd read. Had a look on the old google and turns out the second win is a alleged sparring session!! Sparring stories ;)

Beterbiev isn't beating Kovalev as long as he has a hole in his arse. He is way too limited. Plenty of power, not much else.

He beat him twice in amateurs once by KO, albeit a long time ago.

Course it means something! Kinda means he's beaten him before, so has belief he can do it again for starters.
