If Marquez has retired then gotta be Gennady.

A bias opinion, fav fighter right now is Joseph Parker.

Since others are mentioning more than one I have to give a shout out for Salido. That guy is one of the last that came up the hard way and earned everything. He's such a bad ass that I can overlook his relentless below the belt assaults.

Thats a fair point and to be considered in any balanced assessment of the cheating POS.

Here go my list:

1. GGG:'ain't no 1 on his level. He beats anyone
2. Kovalev. Great boxer with a lethal punch
3. Ward: goes down to the body like no 1
4. Sammy Vasquez: all yinz haters kiss my ass. This kid is the goods.
5. Betterbiev: eats nails for breakfast and shits thunder

You can't believe that . Aside from the fact that he's not an active boxer right now, Mayweather had more fans than any of the fighters mentioned in this thread.

There are some really exciting prospects going around at present. Joseph Parker is great to watch, and part of the reason is he isn't perfect. He has flaws and it means his fights against the better guys could go either way.

I really like Andre Ward, I believe hes the most skilled guy out there right now. I feel alot of people criticize him for his inactivity, due to his promotional conflict and don't respect his boxing skills by calling him dirty and boring.. I also feel he's chasing greatness and when he fights Kovalev he will humble alot of these Russian fans running rampant around these parts. Ward would make a absolute fool out of GGG in the ring.

Naoya Inoue, Kosei Tanaka and Hinata Maruta , followed Inoue since his debut and the other two since their "pro test" bouts, so been fun to see them on the fast track

1 Ggg, 2 kovalev, 3 A Joshua, 4 T Fury (personality wise), 5 D Wilder, 6 Errol spence, 7 A buterbiev and 8 A Ward. These are the fighters imo with must watch fights...maybe not so much Fury but he has must watch press conferences.
