Remain current, he's a world champion who has been defending his title for the last 2 years against complete unknown no hopers, he is a laughing stock right now, what are you on about man?

And why is it three months away?

He'll probably not fight again before the end of the year either.

Another wasted year for Brook.

I agree its a wasted year for Brook so what if he picks up the WBO belt, he will have taken from a paper champion.

The man is at his peak, if he is only fighting twice a year at least one of those fights has to be very significant.

He's holding that title under lock and key, its embarrassing!

Harsh. He can't help being avoided can he? He was stabbed and had a bad injury to contend with. Two of his three defences were mandatory. I want to see him in with a batter class of opponent but to say he's holding the title hostage is very harsh.

To be fair, horse is right. It's always the next fight with Brook, and has been for four years. This is his second best fight.

No, are you?

Horse is clearly right about Brook. It is another year of his prime gone. The welterweight division is wide open, he should be gunning for guys like Garcia and Thurman and then Spence. They clearly have zero interest in this and will likely move up after this fight.

Put forward your evidence that shows he is being avoided. IMO your deluded.

He was stabbed, but he's back fighting. Are you saying he deserves the easy defences because of what happened to his leg???

Nothing at all harsh about what i'm saying, he has a world title, he should be defending it against the best contenders out there.

He should be fighting better guys. I am anything but deluded mate. You're being harsh! No fight is easy. We're all fighting men on here aren't we? Fights are never straight forward or easy....

Brook isn't dodging anyone. He is more frustrated than anyone by what's gone on. He would fight them all.

Spot on. Mayweather has commented that none of the top guys will fight Brook.

I'm not guessing here. It's straight from Brooks mouth, away from tv. A friend is very close to him and swears it does Brooks head in. He is itching for the big names.

Yeah, but it ain't that easy to make a big fight, especially when the opponent is in a different country.

Brook probably wants to fight5 Erroll Spence as well. It doesn't mean the fight will automatically happen. Spence is an unknown in this country and Brook only had one fight there. It would take a lot of money to get either guy over to the other side of the Atlantic.

Most fighters who Brook fights though are unknown to the majority of fans in this country unless they're hardcore fans. Brook could either head over to the states to fight one of the top guys or Hearn should be willing to pay the money needed to bring them over.

He should be more vocal about it then in the media and say he's not happy with the fights Hearns getting him. That or get a deal with Haymon if he can.

It depends how much they ask for mate. It's got to make financial sense. Unless it's a really big name, it's not going to make a huge amount of money, so it won't be financially viable to do. Brook could go to the States, but it's pretty much nailed on that Hearn won't be promoting it, soooo, it boils down to what Brook is offered from the other side of the pond.

I'll ask this

Why was he ringside at Anthony Joshua's fight when the same night the top two guys in his weight class were fighting in Vegas?

He should have been out there attempting to drum up interest in him fighting the top names and interacting with American media etc

I don't dislike Brook at all it's just frustrating that his prime has been absolutely wasted by bad injuries and bad matchmaking.
