Danny might give Aussie fans a discount with an attractive Main Event price of $39.95 because of the purse savings fighting Watts

Some really good up and coming Aussie fighters getting a great chance at some exposure on this card. Hopefully they will be well matched too.

With the amount of bouts on the card if they are too well matched might be a long night

So be it. The more well matched fights the better.

Might be an idea to wait until you see who they are actually matched up against before pouring your usual dose of negativity all over it.

It sounds like Brandon Ogilvie was to be part of the Green vs Watts undercard :
"The cut will likely rule out any chance of Ogilvie appearing on the Danny Green-Kane Watts undercard in Melbourne on August 3".
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport ... -in-japan/
George Kambosos Jnr is listed on the Green vs Watts undercard. Perhaps it is the much anticipated Kambosos vs Ogilvie fight we will miss out on as a result of Ogilvie's busted eye? Either that or the pair were to be featured on the same card in order to further build up a fight between them in the future.

There has been a lot of mention of Brad Pitt, firstly as a possible opponent for Green and later as a possible opponent for Flanagan.
The reality is he has only just been given the go-ahead to start punching again after stuffing his hand up something chronic.

The surgeon had to insert screws and wires into Pitt's hand. That's what the big scar is all about and he has only in the last couple of days been given the all-clear to start punching again.
Not sure what he was doing calling out Green. There's no chance whatsoever he could have been ready for the fight of his life by August 3rd. That hand is probably months away from serious warfare.

He was calling out Green before he broke his hand, Pitt has been calling him out since he won the Super 8 in NZ

Horrendous. The last thing you want happening to your power hand.

That doesn't suit the demographics agenda. The thread I started about Pitt calling out Green last year.
http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=194094
Note the demographics reaction on why Green shouldn't fight him.
The thread where Green is fighting the lowly ranked Kane Watts.
http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... 4&start=25
Note the demographics reaction as too why this is a great fight.

Brian Armatruda confirms Flanagan is still on the Green card. Also says tables for both the Green card and Caparello "almost all sold."

Czar Amonsot 31-3-3 will meet 24-1 Julio De Jesus from the Dominican Republic for the vacant WBA-NABA super lightweight title.
23 of De Jesus' 24 wins have come via stoppage. But Amonsot is a step up in class for him.

One of our most exciting young fighters, Jayde Mitchell, has been added to the Green vs Watts card.
Mitchell recently beat the experienced Nader Hamden in emphatic style.

Hey ANTON : Brian Butler has the twins fighting the opposite opponents (as per above) to what is up on Boxrec. Someone has made a typo. Not sure if it's him, you or someone else? See also fight poster below.
