Hayes done a nice thing here. Why do people feel the need to pick holes in what is a classy gesture? Haye gets a lot of stick on here for certain things and justifiably so but he's shown a touch of class here and should be commended.

Well we have to make sure he does number 1... and there are many so-called philanthropists who 'give' money away to charity, but effectively it comes off their tax bill, they are not giving their away, they are giving away money that would otherwise be paid to the treasury. They are in effect giving away money from the public purse. It doesn't really belong to them.

It's not like you or I giving money to a charity box.

It's also fantastic PR and makes him seem like a great guy....

Occasionally, just occasionally people deserve a bit of credit. I'm the last in the queue to be handing it out to Haye, but he deserves some respect here.
