Cheers looks a decent enough card, although shame the Nathan Gorman fight seems to have been pulled from it. I'm hoping to go but on a stag do the weekend don't know if I'll be back in time/in a fit state.

Did u go mate. Haven't watched the fight yet but I will. Seen alot of paddock real nice boxer just seems to lack any power. Our kid sparred him alot wen he was fighting. Spoke to him on a few occasions and his a sound down to earth lad with a real good following behind him. He shifts some ticket.. hope he comes again.

Nah mate never made it in the end bit gutted it fell that weekend really.

Yeah I'd agree re Paddock very good boxer but lacks power. Was at the Keates fight and thought he was unlucky not to get the result that night.

Seen a few things on this look like Manny Zaber / Les Byfield could meet soon.

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/oth ... s-byfield/

Refreshing this for me a 7-0 prospect calling for a fight with a local rival also with a winning record. Good back story too with them both being rivals and nearly meeting on the unlicensed circuit,

Check out Kyle Williams from Wolverhampton former pro kickboxing world champion and now 2-0 in the professional boxing ranks, one the best boxers I have seen come out of kick boxing, very dedicated and motivated, always in shape, walks around near to his fighting weight : https://youtu.be/KYKcNsUohAE

Didn't realise this lad was from Wolverhampton :TU:

Had a few nearly men and lads that have done well but not for a while, would be great to have a fighter the whole town could get behind.

Was swapping messages with les about this and his looking at fighting at featherweight. From the article manny looking at super feather so cud cause a problem. Looking at manny weights he might struggle to do 9st. Fight will only happen for a decent title.

You think its unlikely then mate? Shame thought the fact they'd put out a press release on it meant it might be in the pipeline.

Sound, get him to wear gold and black shorts and come out to the liquidator....even if he doesn't like football it'll help shift tickets.

Think manny wants the fight and used to paper to try and get some local interest him his career. Imo will come down to wat weight and title is on the line.. Both Midlands titles at feather and super have holders.

Decent fight that, any idea where? I'd imagine it'll be East Midlands somewhere but wouldn't mind getting over if possible.

Not sure yet although i would probably assume the venue Carl Greaves has used for his last 2 ventures into Nottingham, Chilwell Olympia on the west side of Nottingham, a few mins from M1 so pretty easy to get to. Im not sure who Fields is with to know if theres any possibility of him seeking home advantage himself.

Does anyone know how Darren McDermott is getting on and what hes doing with himself? I saw something on facebook about a brewery doing a pint named bodysnatcher seemingly in his honour. And saw some kind of comments about work he does in the community but just hints not specifics.

Anyone hear anything?
