Makes sense Crawford hits behind head, gets credit with knockdown, Postol does same thing and point deducted

Crawford is best at 140, but 140 isn't what it used to be

IMO a very predictable result. Crawford is in a class of his own at 140, and considering how big he is in the ring should have no problems jumping to 147.

He beats Pac at this stage.

Viktor was the rangier guy and was the one pressuring. It was what he had to do to win. Does this take anything away from Crawford?

It just shows that Crawford can fight anywhere and in any way.

You really think Crawford's size had much to do with his win tonight? I felt it was Viktor's dimensions that was an obstacle for Crawford.

Really impressive win!

Can't see Pac hanging with Bud at all.

What? When did I attribute the win to size? Crawford is just at another level overall.

The only thing it takes away from Crawford was the way it was done, but scoring the knockdowns, dominating the cards and the fact that he was never in any danger of losing swings the pendulum enough in his favour to come out looking good.

Pac Crawford is a fascinating fight but I lean Crawford right now. However TC has never fought anyone like Manny with his speed and ring acumen and workrate. Great fight. Please make it.

Crawford is a far more intelligent boxer than Manny.

Postol didn't bring a B C and D plan to cut off the ring and in clinches seemed to come 2nd best, his jab was almost non existent all night.

Manny will get knocked out by Crawford. Max is a nuthugger but he's right about Crawford. No doubt pac is fighting Vargas.i wouldn't be surprised to see pac/canelo in may.

That's mainly because Postol isn't an offensive fighter. He's not used to having to come forward and push the action. His best wins were Aydin and Matthysse and in both he could dictate with his jab and let them try and land big shots on him. Also, his jab was largely ineffective because one he was fighting a southpaw and it's harder to land it consistently and two Crawford's constant movement meant he couldn't get into a rythm and set his feet to land punches. Very smart game plan from Crawford.

I didn't think the southpaw stance played a big role overall but I agree Postol couldn't set himself up because Crawford was never in any one spot too long.
It worked good luck to him.

Crawford is -700. -700?!?!

Wow. Crawford is good. Very good. But Postol is a helluva fighter. And the bigger man. Someone please explain this line to me because it doesnt make any sense.
The line was better than most fights.. Just because a guy is undefeated and will very likely go the distance doesn't mean he has a good chance to win.. Postol was well and easily beaten, but he's a tough fighter. Like Guerrero went the distance with Mayweather and won 3 rounds. The odds were similar on that fight. I thought the true odds on Crawford-Postol and Floyd-Guerrero were -1200 each so the favorites were the bet.

My bad. You had mentioned Crawford's size a couple times last night. Thought maybe you were alluding to him being too big for his opponents or something... But, I also had a few brews in me at that point as well.

I'm not sure how anyone could draw any kind of negativity from Bud's performance last night. I'm guessing it's the people that lost money on a wager or were never a fan of the kid to start. TC fought an absolutely brilliant fight and fought the perfect fight. It was a performance that reminded me of the way that Floyd used to get it done. With Floyd's toughest fights, you'd go through the possible outcome scenario's in your head and never think that he'd pitch an absolute gem and walk out without a scratch on his face but he did. That's what Bud did last night. An absolute gem and fought brilliantly. Again, this was a fight he didn't have to take but he did and he keeps getting better and better. He's a top 5 P4P boxer now.

Crawford is not a runner... He's a great attacker gets most opponents out... Floyd didn't knock anybody out for the last several years

He is a runner landing a couple good shots per round, and those KDs were not impressive at all.

He's definitely a Boxer more so than a puncher, but I don't see him as a runner. I'd consider him a Masterful Boxer, but as far as that style of fighter goes he's much more entertaining to watch than a lot of those kinda fighters because he has more pop and takes more chances.

I don't think the size was much of a factor against Postol. It was more of an issue against manikin Gamboa, but I still think Crawford was the better fighter of the two and would've won regardless.
