Thurman and Porter are black Americans, but nobody sh!ts on them. Wilder's cherry picking and (real or pretended) dumbness is what make people critical.

But wait, wasn't your beloved Povetkin (or his team) cherry picking his opponents for more than 5 years in 2008-2013 worse than Wilder does?

Since 2008 ??? Like when he only had 15 fights? He fought the most feared HW in his 26th fight. Wilder has 37 fights and still fought NOBODY.

Povetkin is no dirtier than Wilder. Both had clean tests except Sasha's traces of meldonium from 2015 which were below the allowed threshold.
Wilder may well be on as many PED's as Povetkin is. Fact remains the fight was called off because of Povetkin and you guys are massaging his balls with your tongues and blaming Wilder.
The fight was called off because of WADA's original missing research on meldonium. There was no fault of Povetkin who followed the meldonium ban ruling.
None of which had anything to do with Wilder.

Wilder was clearly happy yelling that Povetkin is dirty and the fight is cancelled, while WBC just said that the fight was postponed and they are investigating.

..surely Wilder has got less than stellar resume, but I see no reason blaming him for the latest developments...

Cheating is..
-tampering with the gloves (e.g taking padding off the gloves)
-using PEDS etc

Imagine cheating was allowed..

The amount of fights isn't even the main point, Wilder claims to be the best of the world and carries a belt, Povetkin didn't carry any belt and openly admitted the Klitschko's were better.

When you say things like all Americans are stupid in multiple threads here its quite clear you have an agenda other than boxing.

I would love to see Wilder fight the best as much as anyone, but to blame him for the Povetkin fight not happening is just plain idiotic. asdfjkl saying they should give the belt to Povetkin? You are about the dumbest mfer I have seen in quite some time. Arreola was apparently the only one that would take the fight on such short notice. They said others were interested but not enough time to prepare. Move on.

Wilder's resume to me is much like Brook's. Both had one good fight against a top 5 guy, similar record, and both need a big fight next against someone really good. Wilder's fight with Povetkin fell through, Brook couldn't get Khan to fight him, a couple of others, Chavez and Alexander, didn't happen. Now Brook has GGG, so hope that still happens. Wilder will need probably 3-4 months to heal from 2 separate surgeries, then hopefully Povetkin or another top 5 guy will happen. I'm ready to be done with both Brook and Wilder, as are a lot of fans unless they make sure their next fight is a big one. I hope Brook doesn't get cold feet this time, again, and Wilder doesn't need to "test his hand" on some bum....again.

Yeah that's cheating too just like taking PEDS. It's all the same. You take Meldonium etc..cheating.

Brook has been unsuccessfully chasing good fights, while Wilder has been successfully running from them. Besides, Porter is way better than Stiverne who has never been a top 5.

Now Wilder will keep hiding from Povetkin with DiBella's help:

More BS. In the last few years Brook has turned down fights from Bradley, Chavez, and most recently admitted Spence agreed to fight but guess they didn't want that. He never fought Alexander, but doubt either guy wanted that fight. He did chase Khan. Who else has he unsuccessfully chased?

Yeah that's cheating too just like taking PEDS. It's all the same. You take Meldonium etc..cheating.
And an aspirine? Also, you do know that Wilder has metal rods in his right hand don't you?

Russian athletes now on the worldwide news as massive drug cheats.

Povetkin=Meldonium
Wilder=nothing.

i blame everyone who calls himself
champion for fighting chris arreola.
save me "short notice". lennox lewis
took on vitali klitschko on short
notice. deontay wilder would do so
only with a ten year preparation time ...

...I do not necessarily approve of champ fighting arreolas of this world, however Vitali made himself available and willing to fight, that's why the fight took place....was there any top ten guy willing to fight Wilder on short notice? If so, I missed that..

Povetkin most likely wanted, I think Ortiz would have wanted it as well, most others are scheduled already or don't deserve it either.

Meldonium allways used to be allowed and Povetkin didn't take it any more as soon as it wasn't allowed any more. Wilder still got metal rods in his hand as far as I know.

...let's leave Povetkin out for the time being, has Ortiz made it loud and clear he really wanted to or was he just making noises?

He never said a word. Probably because he already has a fight, his promoter is suing al and the available purse was peanuts. These clowns blame wilder for ggg/canelo not happening.
