“Shots were exchanged between the suspect and officers,” she said.

During the gun battle, an officer was struck in the left arm and the suspect was struck by police gunfire, Eisenman said.

Based on preliminary information, Beck said the gunman fired at least ten rounds.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The officer was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

I got hit in the face by a pigeon at work today then remembered I had an extra half nipple. It's one of those days man!

If you work with pigeons, you really need to stop antagonising them. They're bad tempered, and if they are your colleagues you'll have to learn how to find a solution. I find bird seed works well, or dogshit and discarded chip wrappers.
