If that was the case wouldn't he have quit against the Frenchman who spent rounds smashing him around, only for Towers to come back and win. His heart looked ok then.

He dropped the Frenchman 4 times , hardly got punched around the ring.

I recall him getting pummelled, many people thinking it should have been stopped, and Towers recovering to win. As I said before, nothing wrong with his heart that night.

massive success story Iif he never goes bk to crime. Brother in law was on same wing and said he was soundest guy you could meet...had a lot of time for younger kids, tryin to put em right. Bumped into him in local supermkt the day after he won international or whateva and he was wearing the belt!! However I dont think this was an act of arrogance more so I think the man was extremely proud of what he had achieved, more in turnin his life round than what hed won.

That's pretty cool. I wish him the best and, if he wants, gets some domestic bouts in.
