I'd go for Tyson.

It would be a frustrating fight for Iron Mike, because Ibeachuchi (II) would not fall easily & he would fire back & Tyson was not keen on those types of opponents.

In 1987, he still had the nous to hang in there & go 12 if an opponent proved to be tough.

Tyson was more seasoned & was used to fighting tougher opponents, whereas II hadn't mixed in the same company by the time he fought Byrd.

Tyson '87 would be by far the best man II had ever fought, whereas it wouldn't necessarily be the case for Tyson.

And you can have a lobotomy if you're a moron...to quiet you down if you're creating a hassle for your caretakers... You'll end up quite a bit dumber, but who cares??? You were too dumb to think for yourself in the first place... Your thinking process takes 2 things into consideration BuzzBox... What was this guys' historical reputation -- and what does everybody else think about this? ... That means you can't think for yourself because you're always citing everybody else's opinions.

Most people don't know very much about Ike Ibeabuchi... They can't form a realistic view of his boxing and punching skills...and didn't see the Chris Bryd fight... Most people were of the opinion that Joe Frazier would beat George Foreman... They didn't think the size and strength differential was a big deal -- and they didn't take their styles of fighting into consideration -- just their reputations.

You are far to critical of my modus operandi, and should spend more time reflecting on how to improve your own processes.

They often end up short of the mark.

And the surgical procedure of Lobotomy was outlawed some time ago, thanks to One Flew over the cuckoos nest. Nevertheless should you get overly outlandish, their are chemical restraints that you can depend on should you experience overwhelming anxiety or tribulation.

Ibeabuchi was headed for the scrap heap of the HW division....not because he lacked skills, but because he lacked the ability to sail his ship of life. He was going to decompensate one way or another.....as he clearly displayed. Could have happened just as easily in the ring at some point where an opponent forced him to face his demons.

Buzz, you can say Ibeabuchi was a time bomb. That doesn't make it true. He was set up. It was a sex industry worker who got him in trouble -- so it's really strange that he lost his freedom for such a long time because of his interactions with such a person.. That's really troubling to me

Tyson and Wilder were seemingly in much more trouble than Ibeabuchi on the original things they were charged with -- but they had influential backers.. Tyson had an idiot for a lawyer because a good one would have gotten him off entirely---and Tyson had been in trouble with the law many times before, for assault and whatever.. But if Wilder and Tyson could make it out, Ibeabuchi should have made it out.. Life isn't fair and many innocent people have been ushered into prison for decades.. Many offenders who should have gotten 90 days got 20 years.. Some who should have gotten life sentences got off with little or no jail time. Look at Brock Turner as an example. He attacked a girl sexually and left her body unconscious behind a dumpster with her dress pulled up and panties ripped off.. Turner was run down by passers by, wrestled to the ground, and held for police.. He's out in 90 days.. He did his time already -- good old Brock.

Had Ibeabuchi gotten off he would have changed the history of the Heavyweight Division.

Do you really have to ask that question?

Six months training under Cus D'amato & Chamberlain would have walked it; you know that!  :TU:

Tyson wasn't big, tall, or strong enough for Ibeabuchi... Mike couldn't get James Smith out... He couldn't get Tony Tucker out... He couldn't get Buster Douglas out...in fact the China-chinned Douglas knocked Mike out... Mike couldn't get Razor Ruddock out... He couldn't get James Tillis out... couldn't get Holyfield out...

All those Tyson opponents above where knocked out by good punchers... Chris Byrd was knocked out or beaten by nobody before he fought IKe... Ike laid waste to Byrd, something David Tua couldn't do... Ike would have crushed little Mike.
