Punch perfect performance from Ward there, finally showing some gears and a bit of spite in his punches,he started off excellent and never gave Townend a sniff really,he showed it all movement, accuracy, and as always a good pace,i fancied Martin to win but i thought it would be close with Townend maybe getting a raw deal from the judges but by pretty early in the fight i fancied him to get Andy out of there and it was a great call by the ref

Was Ward-Townend really seen as a 50-50 fight, as commentary suggested? Ward just way too quick and technically refined..Townend was telegraphing every shot and couldn't evade what was coming back

Yeah i had it a 50/50 going in,i thought Ward would outpoint Townend but did wonder if Martin had the strength to keep Andy off him for 12 rounds, but it ended up being a masterclass from Ward

That was a good performance from Ward, easily the best ive seen him box.Townend just looking for the one big shot,i thought he might try and mix it up a bit like Coldwell was saying but just constantly going with the same way.He even said himself pre fight he was gonna try and box Ward back a bit added with his power and form he was on i couldnt have got that more wrong tbh.

I can't see any chance for Edwards no matter how much the commentary team talk him up.

Edwards already in the first taking big overhand rights. Admittedly he has his left glove up but I see those shots accumulating over time.

Cassimero also seems to be wearing Michael Jackson's foundation on his legs.

Thought the first 4 were clear Cassimero rounds. Not sure whether Edwards deserves a share of the last 2 tho.

Think Hearn was standing shouting to Edwards corner to pull him out. Rewound tape to watch it. Correct sentiment.

Wish Edwards the best, maybe too soon, but can't knock someone trying. So many boxers are too cautious. His Jab was good, and am sure he can rebuild.

Casimero was good to watch, one of the quickest slow looking guys! Enjoyable fight. I am happy for Casimero who had a no doubt hard hard upbringing and he's got on the road to defend his belt.

Was Eddie Hearn screaming at the corner to pull Edwards out there fore the stoppage?
