As soon as the tide started turning they threw in the towel.

Disagree, I think the corner knew he had nothing and was just catching fist with his head.

Why?

They're there to stop their man when they feel he's finished, you don't know Brook they do, there was clearly a difference in Brook from the early rounds.

Brook did a good job, fought two classes above his natural weight and competed while it lasted..

Golovkin ahead 3 rounds to 1 at time of stoppage.

Brook must have a coconut for a head, he took a god damn beating.

Ingle saved Brooks life, another 2 or 3 minutes he would have been KTFO.

Great win by GGG over the best welterweight in the world.

Shame on Brook's trainer.

Clearly his corner knows their man , Brook gave a pretty good account of himself .

Good fight while it lasted , high level boxing.

This is good for GGG. Maybe Canelo can finally collect his 2 miserable balls and step into the ring.

Brook was still standing and hadn't even gone down. I think it was far too early to stop the fight. Let Brook go back to the corner and tell him if he shows nothing in the next round then you will stop it.

wise decision by Brook corner. Casual fans who never be in ring wanna see people getting KTFO, but trainers knows what they doing, another punishment for Brook was unnecessary

Trainers just saved Brook career. He could of lasted few more rounds but it would of affected rest of his career. You only have so many punches in your career. Not satisfying but they did right thing. He was getting brutalized.

Good fight and good performance by Brook up until the stoppage. GGG too strong and powerful in the end, which is what most of us thought.

Rubbish. He basically stuck to the ropes for the whole of that round, he even chose to stay on the ropes when he had the opportunity to move out and get back to the centre of the ring. He was finished, he was on the verge of getting stopped. Brook's trainer knew what was going on and pulled their man before he got hurt, he was in their with a fighter who's power he's never seen the likes of before, why get hurt? It's just not worth it.

Fvck that! This was for the championship. Brook had fought well and was not done. He had come back from being hurt earlier.

Brook should go to 154lb now, though I'm sure he would beat a lot of middleweights.

Sorry, but I think you're being stupid. I wouldn't be surprised if Brook's eye socket has gone either.

Maybe you are right. Maybe the beers I've had has clouded my opinion but it looked to me like Triple G was missing most of his punches.

Brook barely got past Porter, the corner knew it was time to pack it in against a bigger man. Canelo just called Trump and said "Senor, please build that wall to protect me from triple G"

When you watch it back there's a moment when he can slip Golovkin and move back to the centre of he ring but he moved purposefully back to the ropes, I knew he was done then. Plus his output was almost non-existent in that round. It was only going one way from three IMO

BS BS BS BS BS....
That looked soo fixed... GGG was told not to hurt the local boy, to make it look competitive, for the first few rounds. Then was allowed to unleash. Brook doesn't even look too disappointed.

I thought the stoppage was a little early, but I'd rather it that way than too late. Good to see a corner who truly cares for their fighter. Apparently Brook was ahead on the scorecards.

I've never broken my eye socket, doesn't it hurt then?
