You make a very, very, fair point I from first hand experience felt this at a pub when I watched the bout with a group of friends most of them didn't know who Kell was and if even if they did couldn't name his last few fights

Eddie has a talent where he over spices everything I don't think Brook vs Khan sells out Wembley it would cost about 700k to rent the stadium and I think the ceiling for this fight would be max 30,000
I think a UK fight needs a special selling point to fill a footy stadium.

Froch Groves 2 - the bad blood between them and the perceived injustice of the 1st fight

Haye Chisora - the Munich brawl

The only other one I can think of that filled a big ground in recent years was when Hatton fought at City's ground and he was a special case.

But as you say Eddie never knowingly undersells anything so it's not inconceivable that they might meet in a mega fight one day
Aye, theres two things certain in life DEATH & Eddie over hyping a fight haha

Jokes aside, I'm really looking fwd to a fight in a stadium I've been to the O2 and the MEN but I've never felt the atmosphere in a stadium (boxing match) so would be great to see a meaningful fight !

I can see this fighting becoming the Floyd vs Pac of British Boxing.

If it does ever happen, it'll be several years after the time it should have happened.

I sort of agree with that, although I also think Khan doesn't realise he is exaggerating when he talks about Brook not being anywhere near his level so not deserving. AK seems to really believe that in spite of what he has failed to do and in spite of the losses etc he is at the very top table. He clearly doesn't like Brook and will never help him to get to the very top table. I also wouldn't be surprised if the fight gets derailed by Khan's ego trying to set weight limits knowing he's nearer LW than Brook is etc.

Lets be honest both Brook & Khan are two talented fighters but based on what we saw on the weekend I really feel Khan would get stopped, if that uppercut in the second round landed on Khan he would be on the floor

:TU: Khan is quicker and more mobile but Brook can box, can dig to a reasonable level and as we've now seen has a massively better chin. Almost becomes a reverse situation for Brook where it is a case of will Khan be able to get through 12 rounds.
