He's back on Facebook today and posted a statement. He has started paying people back but it might take a while to pay everyone back.

Quick enough to criticise everyone else yet doesn't have his own house in order. Hopefully everyone gets paid back that's owed.

Unfortunate some people he has shown great loyalty too have turned on him

He's clearly a narcissist, 100's of pictures of him on his page, looking moody & macho, and going missing with radio silence with everyone's dosh should set alarm bells clanging loudly, no matter what horse shite excuse he finally surfaces with, that is not normal behaviour at all.
Yet often these types can be quite charming and convincing on the surface, which is why he's seemingly convinced loads of people on there he's still a diamond geezer...

All the "see u shouldn't have gone after him" posts are a bit strange; disappearing with people's money like that certainly warranted a vehement response.

Fair point - but if the guy ends up killing himself or goes into hiding forever because he's too scared to surface, no-one gets their money back.

Ive seen a bit of this Ben guy and he comes across reasonably well, clearly loves boxing. So has he paid everyone back or was it a scam?

I had the same thought. Seen quite a few of his interviews on youtube with the likes of Jimmy Tibbs and Chris Eubank, and thought he came across pretty well.

From what I can see, Ben made a classic error, of trying to spin a bit of money from some cash investment, and got stung, I've been there myself a long time ago, it's always a risk, and the fallout is that everyone thinks you're a twat. That's life, take a risk with other people's money, and there's the result if it goes wrong, if it had gone right, he'd have been a lot better off.
