I often see people refer to Canelo as a major puncher, but I'm not sure if I agree.

Look at his KO victims---extremely chinny Khan and Kirkland, blown up flabby Lopez, and old worn-out Baldomir. He didn't come close to stopping chinny Trout, he never had little Cotto down or in notable trouble, Angulo took everything without being budged, and Lara absorbed some good bodyshots without being visibly hurt. Is he really that much of a puncher?

Also, it shouldn't be assumed that just because someone is 26 they are yet to reach their prime; fighters peak differently and Canelo turned pro very young.

Why anybody is still planning on fighting Mayweather anymore is beyond me. Some guys just can't get it that a guy is retired. Floyd would only be coming back for ridiculous money. A fight with Smith wouldn't bring that money.

If Floyd comes back there are only 3 fights that him and his team would give any consideration too. Cotto 2, Canelo 2 or Pac 2...all would bring guaranteed big money...the kinda money Floyd demands, no other opponent would be a big enough draw to justify paying Floyd what he wants.

Mine too, there's nothing he can do now would make him the best ever, short of KOing the winner of Fury v Wlad in 1 round.

However, that's not what the masses think, which is what Floyd cares about.
