A guy on another forum who claims to be a member of Jacobs' camp, and is apparently a respected poster, is claiming the fight is on for December 10th, and will be an HBO PPV from New York. Rumored financial split is 70-30 GGG for purses (wouldve been 75-25 if went to bids), with Golovkin getting 62 percent of the PPV sales.

No idea if this is actually true though. Follow "RR's" posts.

He never lost a fight and knocked the American out when they faced off. Jacobs would have to land something early against GGG or he would face a similar defeat in their fight. Once touched up by GGG Jacobs would be nighty night. Just like it was against Pirog. Jacobs fought southpaw for a lot of the fight and tried to fight off the ropes which did him no favors. He will not be able to fight that way against GGG.

Coming from a guy without the faintest clue on how to score a fight. That means a lot coming from you.

Haven't seen Lancelot since I sent him running from the mma thread where all of his 'sources' were absurdly wrong. Welcome back, bitchboy.

By the way I picked the Diaz McGregor fight right on the money go and look it up you ugly tub of goo. The bottom line is that C Mac and D White laughed all the way to the bank by moving the C Mac fight off of UFC 200. And I did come back here to pick the Crawford-Postol fight which I called right on the money go look it up you fatty.

Would be most interesting for sure. If Brook could rough up Ggg a lil bit , Jacobs should be able to be somewhat successful. Would expect Ggg to eventually ko Jacobs but Ggg looked very vulnerable vs a guy who isn't a mw

Verbose? I would call it descriptive. This is how a writer paints a picture for his audience. You must be a computer programmer or a Millenial, lol. Kidding. If you were not aware of the Pirog/Jacobs fight, this would be a perfectly concise synopsis to bring you up to date. Nobody appreciates language anymore. I don't know this Lancenix fellow, maybe he's a real рrick, but I kinda appreciate his eloquence.

Farcenix is a pudendum.

Jacobs has lost one fight in his career which has been discussed here and on other boxing sites over and over in great detail. 90+ % of the people on this site know exactly what happened in the Pirog fight. Farcenix takes great pride in stating the obvious and taking credit for picking fights that are foregone conclusions correctly.

I see GGG to respect Jacobs power and not walk through him. Similar to the respect he showed Lemieux.

The big question marks are over Jacobs chin. It's not if he's caught but more like when.

I tend to agree, although it will look very different than the Lemieux fight, because Jacobs is a much better boxer than Lemieux, not to mention he has clear advantages in handspeed and athleticism. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Jacobs was ahead on the scorecards before being stopped by GGG.

Lemieux stops Jacobs in 5.

Brook had real problems getting past GGG's jab, and I feel like that was the biggest factor in their fight.

Jacobs is not as slick as Brook but he is significantly taller which will help him out in that regard. I still don't think he wins, but GGG will have to fight him differently and won't have as big an advantage at range.

It's certainly possible - but I like Jacobs in that fight, though Lemieux would certainly have a big puncher's chance. For me, Jacobs would be the best opponent GGG has faced to date - Brook would be the best in a p4p sense, but Jacobs is a big middleweight and probably more skilled than any middleweight GGG has faced. That said, I think GGG stops him earlier than he did Lemieux.

X2

Jacobs best chance to win is to win an early firefight, at least hurting 3G badly enough to open up the possibility of outboxing him, but optimumly stopping him early. Without that, it is just a matter of when (not if) 3G lands something big and finishes.

Reach is important for jabs, but timing is more important, and GGG is really good in timing his jabs.

It may be a sign of talks not going well. I read in Russian and Spanish language sources that Jacobs is requesting WBA to change a purse bid split from 75/20 to 60/40:
