Quigg was a deer in headlights against frampton. Lost 9 rounds. Quigg has stepped up once to world class and got absolutely schooled. And the reason Quigg vs Rigo won't happen is because of quigg......him and his team know they have no chance of beating him that's why he kept his plastic title instead of fight for the real one when held his joke regular title.

If Gallagher comes up with another one of his 'ingenious' gameplans for him, then yes.

Becoming the undisputed super bantamweight champion would help him get a Frampton rematch.

Yet more weight-jumping rubbish.
It's not rubbish if he's struggling at the weight is it? He's big for the weight and he always has that drawn in bulging eyes look at weigh ins! It'd be better if Rigo moved up and got in the mix at feather IMO.

That's what I'm hoping.

He's got skill, he can punch and he was very good defensively against Frampton - he just needed to pull the trigger more and put his foot down.

Hopefully it will be the case now at the higher weight, as he's got good tools.

His been inactive due to the broken jaw he suffered in the Frampton fight requiring surgery.

Yes I'm aware of that, thanks.

Quigg seems to be up at FW alright, but he certainly won't jump straight in for a title. Imagine it may be someone safe enough, a loss on his return would be a disaster. Will be some South American with an inflated record most likely

Because he fights low level opposition and is massively overrated by boxing nerds.

Probably because top ten p4p is a fairytale list that will always be questioned,no two people will have the exact same top ten because its about preference and you might like the slick skills of hit and not get hit like the rigo's,andre ward's and mayweathers of the world but then donkey,i mean horse, might like the GGG's of the world that will ship a sh1t of punches to get 1 off but that 1 knocks them out. To me,no matter what top ten p4p list anyone comes up with, who knows about boxing, the top 5 should be roughly the same but the positions might change

I think that's because no one wants to fight him.
I think he's a class act , He's got the skills to beat any of the elite fighters out there.

If I was managing Quigg I would look at bringing in WBO number 2 Kamil Lascyzk in that would be a easy nights work and get him back into contention for a world title.

Not in any of the bodies at feather mate.

I do think he's a bit overrated.

He's obviously very good, but he's done nothing in years, and many people ignore the problems hes had in the ring (barely defeating Cordoba, hurt multiple times by fringe-contender Marroquin, dropped twice by slow, clumsy Amagasa) while making him out as some untouchable boxing god.

Guys like Frampton and Quigg should not be preordained as losers if they were to fight him, especially given his age and inactivity.

Under a different trainer, Quigg would give Rigo a run for his money. Under Shameless with his 'tactics' not a snowballs chance in hell.

Based on what?

His win against a lacklustre Donaire is almost 3.5 years ago now.

Very overrated fighter.
He was fornicating magnificent in that fight Horse.
Sometimes fighters don't look great and sometimes great fighters make very good fighters look ordinary

The movement and counter punching, against one of the most effective offensive fighters in the game, was to be marveled at.
I watched a review of the fight, one of these YouTube blokes that slows down the replays so you can watch the technical brilliance of all the things you don't see at full speed. There's a point where Rigo is circling and he crosses his feet to fool Donaire, Donaire throws a big over hand right as Rigo changes direction. By the time Donaire gets the punch where it was supposed to be Rigo is 6 feet away from it. It's truly masterful boxing, if you can't appreciate what Rigo does in the ring you just don't get it bud.
