Remember Wlad is shot now and a few levels lower than he was in his pomp and after Fury softening him up. I agree Joshua skills are not as slick as you might like but he is there or there about's and will be to much for Wlad now.

Yes, at the minute he probably doesn't have the best resume but fights like this with Wlad will show us that he is there, I'm not convinced myself with Joshua to be fair but he beats Wlad at this time.

AJ is far too sharpe for Wlad...... no way would Wlad fight him

There's no guarantee Wlad is past it. He's not looked too clever in his last two fights but he beat Jennings convincingly enough and was in with a tall awkward enigma in Fury. The fight before against Pulev I thought he looked as good as ever. Hearn might think the timing is right here but it's a big gamble and one I don't think he'll take. You'd have to give AJ a chance of course but if I had to bet I'd bet on Wlad.

Nobody has talked about him like he is an ATG: you're the only person that has said this.

Folk have merely said they think he should fight Wlad & some think he might have a chance, based on the way he looked V Fury.

Hey, I'd love to see the fight and if Joshua is as good as most people seem to think he is on here, then he is best off fighting Wladimir while he still can, before he retires.

I don't think Joshua is anywhere near that level though and a single step up to fight someone like Chisora, Thompson or Stiverne is good enough for me. 2 steps up to fight someone like Pulev would be very good.

Going from fighting sub-top 30 level opposition to fighting an ATG, who is still on world class form, is a huge step up and to assume that he'll win and win easily is mental as far as I'm concerned.

Hearn claims Pulev turned down a huge offer to fight Joshua. I really wanted to see that fight as well.

Lot's of people predict that any active heavyweight that can be named would be destroyed by Joshua is 3 rounds or so.

That is talking about him like he's an ATG.

He's done nothing to merit such adulation.

Same mate. That would be a good defence. AJ would need to box and think a bit against Pulev. He's pretty mobile for a big guy. There's no chance Pulev turned down big money to fight AJ. He'll end up fighting Stiverne and Hearn will say 'Bermane is the only one who stepped up' blah blah blah! Guy talks total pish!

I'll be stunned if this fight happens this year.

Wladimir was terrified of Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury! Was too spooked to make a move on him. Joshua being so offensive will naturally be more vulnerable than Fury to a counter, but Wladimir doesn't throw counters. He barely throws the right hand or left hook if there's a threat in front of him (see Fury, Haye et al). He needs a timid, technically limited slob to stand in front of him and eat jab. Anything else and he resorts to his trusty hug & run hybrid, which I see AJ punching right through. The dark decade is over. The game is up for Klitschko.

I don't really care about the minutiae of the situation, but I'd def like to see this fight. Worrying about whether it is too soon, or if he's good enough, is for AJ, his team and his promoter to worry about. I just want to see some exciting fights.

I doubt Wlad takes it though.

Its self explanatory really, , We have a nutcase who no one wants to fight except a 41 year old man holding some belts ,even then its a rematch thats took over a year and still getting cancelled .,
We have Aj who's never fought a top 10 contender holding a belt ,,

We have Wilder who refuses to fight anyone who can hit back holding a belt , would'nt say the heavyweight scene is at its best would you ,, especielly when you have AJ's promoter who can't really make his mind up wether his world champ is ready to fight another up and comer (parker ) who himself has'nt even been tested , and make no bones about it Eddie seems to be scouring the world , for opponents who refuse the life changing money he offers but never mentions how much it is .
