I think Malignaggi tends to dominate a commentary. Very good and insightful, but needs to learn when he's said enough. I find him OR Froch would be enough as they both like to talk quite a lot, so it tends to become a crowded commentary with little breathing space. I prefer a little more time to actually watch and listen to proceedings myself without a constant racket of opinions. It's got a bit much for me the last couple of times Froch + Malignaggi have been on together, ended up close to muting it.

They get it tight at times and rightly so but I actually enjoyed the commentary last night. Halling talked his usual bollux but I enjoyed Maliignaggi and Froch. Malignaggi slating O'Connor was particularly refreshing

You could be right. I was also half cúnted I remember really enjoying Froch n Paulie hence the thread

I really like the two of them together, Frog and Paulie. I think they both have their faults but with time they will grow into the role and I thought Paulie's calling on the home cooking of the fornicating disgusting ref was spot on. If we want these big fighters to come here they shouldn't be fighting two people in the ring: they should get well paid and a fair shake. It'll be forgotten now because Linares found a way around it and still went on to win but I don't think those shots were low and O'Conner looked as though he was going to take a point. That wouldn't have been right. It's embarrassing for us UK fight fans because we want good fighters to come here and the only way they will is by stopping all that. At least the judges didn't mug him off. I thought Crolla was a bad as O'Conner actually, for taking a legit body shot and then backing off inviting the ref to see that it was a low blow. I don't think it was.

I'd like to have Froch and Paulie call more fights together to see if they improve, but they do need that third person to counterbalance them. It's not Adam Smith, who's just some fornicating cheerleader. What about Adam Smith from the Asylum? The 'real' Adam Smith.

I thought Froch and Paulie worked well together.

The commentator who did the Burton fight was knowledgable. Andy Scott. He needs to not go in much detail though which he will learn in time. Talked about the Burton-Buglioni politics for a round and a half. Not the usual Sky byist.

Jamie Moores advice to Connor Benn was great aswell.

Maybe swap Ed Robinson and Adam Smith around for the big fights.

Robinson, Froch, Malinaggi would be good.

They should interview Watt in a Glasgow bar aswell like HBO do with Lederman.
