Garcia has no confidence in himself. Otherwise he will be fighting someone decent. Anyone can be confident against Salka and Frikington.

Cant understand why Garcia's career would be go backwards after beating Matthysse who at the time was arguably the most scary avoided fighters at the time who's only defeats had been "robberies"?
Surely Danny must have felt top of the world after dominating him with ease?

I agree always thought he was a shoe in for a Mayweather fight after that.

Did the Herrera fight bust Danny's confidence? Does he not have faith in his ability to beat top guys at 147? Does he think the win over Lucas M earned him nothing but easy fights in the future? Holding out for the Mayweather fight? All of the above?
Either way, Danny's career has been bleh since the Lucas fight.

Agreed. He thinks he's a superstar, and he's barely even a star at all anymore. He took all the momentum he had after the Matthysse victory and flushed it down the toilet.

I wonder what ever gave him that idea?
Thank Haymon for creating an era of pussified Boxers.

Exactly some people on CS think we shouldnt be glad if haymon goes bust.
Screw him most of the fights are shite. Too many build up and show case fights. Garcia Thurman next year next fight bla bla bla for the f**king fight now.
Always said this quality of fights were better with a Schaefer run goldenboy.
Still the top rank divide but that hasn't gone.
