Boxing media and the jungle drums seem to be beating the name Lucas Browne.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was Browne. The WBA have stated that they want Haye back as Champion. They are shifty enough to push Oquendo back (not like he deserves anything anyway) & have Haye v Browne for the vacant title. Browne would get a lot more cash for that bout than he would against Fres PLUS a defence or two in Oz.

And a good showing would keep him in the loop for another payday - unless he manages to win.............

But I don't think it's Browne just yet. Briggs or someone like Tony Thompson.

Browne would be respectable, but please not Briggs. He hasn't beaten a decent opponent in 10 years, and he's now 6 years older than he was when Vitali hospitalized him. Don't let the talking fool you into believing that he's better than he is...

I will genuinely worry for Briggs' health if he fights Haye, and I hope Davey would show some mercy and target the body.

Briggs would be a terrible fight. Briggs is just a clown at this point. If Haye is serious he will face a legit contender now.
let someone prove it, because in the past 5 years nobody dared to face him.

He has, and even his last opponent is better than anyone Briggs has defeated since 2006.

Haye vs Povetkin is still the match up I'd love to see.

Never ever going to happen but one i've wanted to see for about 6 years.

Why? Even 104 y.o. Briggs would be better than another guy like DeMori or Gjergjaj

Apparently looking at bringing the fight to Cardiff. Must be a fairly big name opponent if he plans on selling out there.
