I have no idea how a real boxing fan could take Briggs more seriously as an opponent than someone like Duhaupas, Stiverne, Jennings, Fedosov, Washington, or Whyte. Briggs objectively deserves a lower ranking than any of them, he hasn't beat anyone with a pulse since 2006, his pineapple hairstyle made him look like a clown, and he acts like a clown. Briggs might as well be wearing actual clown make-up and you're pointing at him and saying "This is the most serious human being on planet Earth."
I think Briggs would win against Stiverne and Fedosov, possibly Washington even. Also, I don't expect him to win, but that doesn't mean he hasn't earned the fight.

Stiverne would lose against pretty much any heavyweight from the top 60, Fedosov pretty much anyone from the top 50 and Washington should have lost against that other, smaller and lighter 40+ year old as well.

Briggs is better as Wilder too, right?

Wilder chickened out as well indeed, even after Briggs offered to fight for free, something Arreola never did, somehow Arreola probably agreed to lose the fight for a pile of money I guess, that's why Wilder won despite even I could win the fight against that guy with one arm.

Serious question . . . Is Shannon your boyfriend?

Nope, no boy will ever get a chance on me. Maybe crusader can help you out if you're into that. I bet he can give you exactly the feelings you like.

Serious question, asdfjkl:

What makes you rate Briggs so highly? He has done nothing in the ring to earn a payday against Haye, but that said, neither did de Mori or Gjergjaj.

As long as he fights someone with a pulse, I don't care. I don't really see Haye beating any of the top 10 - he's too slow now after putting on too much weight. He should fight Briggs or Price and see what he's got left.

I think he means Arreola, but either way it's idiotic.

So just combine the shows for a bigger event and match the winners. Joshua vs Klitschko winner vs Parker vs Ruiz winner.

On the 17th October, we’ll likely find out what the WBO intends to do with Tyson Fury’s heavyweight title belt. So if Klitschko faces Joshua, then it seems likely that Parker will face Ruiz Jr. in Aukland (New Zealand) for the vacant WBO world title.

Whilst I’m sure that Parker is a decent heavyweight and probably a nice guy, he’s not the most charismatic fellow. I’ve just watched him chair a few press conferences and his facial expression and vocal tone remains static and emotionally neutral at all times… to almost robotic levels. He may struggle to gain many fans outside his home country if he doesn't learn to be more comfortable in front of the media.

I'd love Haye v Parker, that would be an awesome fight. I'm sure Haye would love the chance to pick up Fury's belts.

Please leave Briggs well alone. BTW, Stiverne might lose to everyone in the top 60 but I'm not convinced Briggs is in the top 60

If I would realise it, it's easy to adept in such a fight. He can't, or can barely use it, he's in pain all the time, defending will be less hard. I think an avarage light heavyweight can be compared with a heavely injured top 20 heavyweight. If it was Povetkin in that ring, Wilder would have never survived it. Even Stiverne would probably have won easely from that moment.

Even Vitali lost in such a moment, simply because that was a real fight instead of a showfight just for the money like this.

Arreola is still Top 60 and Stiverne beat him twice. Stiverne definitely sucks and there's definitely a lot of guys in the Top 20 and 30 I could see beating him, but I think he'd beat some guys within the Top 60 surely.

Briggs wouldn't beat any fighter with a pulse anymore. He has no intention of trying either until there's a lot of money in it for him. All he wants anymore is one last payday.

Haye should get the same response many of you give Dirrell.
He don't want to fight.

Briggs already offered to fight for free and already won against several gys who were ranked within the top 100 at the time. Sadly nobody within the top 60, except for Parker, dared to fight Briggs. Briggs has challenged many, many guys with padded fake records. Especially the older guys who have absolutely nothing to look for in the top of the division. Like Haye, Wilder, Browne, Briggs in fact leaves real champs that aren't after a payday, like AJ, Parker, name them, completely alone.

Everybody with a pulse beats Briggs. The entire Top 40 beats Briggs.

Haye could beat anyone. Bi is right that he's shown no interest in stepping up, but there is nobody untouchable to him. I think he'd destroy fury if he went for it.
