Not bad for a company that’s supposed to be out of business. ;-)
You can see they've almost entirely shifted to Showtime, because Showtime will actually pay them good money for good cards, whereas the cards they put on channels like Spike are generally big losers for them.

Garcia/Vargas is abject garbage, although it's the sort of garbage that other promoters are guilty of as well.

It seems like we're going to end up right back where we were a couple of years ago, with Haymon fighters appearing nearly exclusively on Showtime.
Showtime have only just announced their fight cards. The PBC had signed multi-year contracts with multiple networks and we already know for definite that it will be returning to ESPN in April of next year. We're just waiting for further announcements from other networks.

Yes but look at the fights. All their big names are fighting on Showtime. A year ago, a fight like Thurman/Garcia would have been on a network like NBC, but they're not doing that anymore. Now those big fights are on Showtime, who provide their own production and don't let them use the PBC brand during their telecasts.

We're basically going back to 2014 conditions, hopefully this time with Showtime wising up and not buying garbage like Garcia/Salka.

For all I know, you could very well be right. However, I don’t like to be hasty, by jumping to all sort of negative conclusions, because none of us are in possession of all the facts and we’ve yet to receive official notification of the type of bouts being covered by the other networks.

We know for certain that the PBC will continue to be televised by multiple TV networks during 2017, so I’ll refrain from criticising Haymon’s company until we learn more about the fights being covered.

So if those timebuy deals were already signed to guarantee coverage with other networks, can we really take PBC's continued presence on those networks as indicators of the series's current situation?

Whatever the case, hopefully more good fights are made.

The ESPN deal isn't new and if the garbage they gave them continues there won't be another one. There are a few NBC cards carried over, no indication they have any interest in continuing. They've consistently delivered quality to spike. No reason for them to want out.

"Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions unveils 2017 broadcast plans"

A day after Showtime formally announced seven fights featuring talent from boxing manager Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions, PBC unveiled plans for a 2017 schedule that features three prime-time cards each on Fox and NBC, 25 shows on Fox Sports 1 and more on ESPN, Spike TV and Bounce TV.

Another article from ESPN:
"Premier Boxing Champions to continue broad TV slate in '17"

"Although Premier Boxing Champions did not unveil any specific fights on Wednesday, it announced its general plans for its third year in 2017, and those plans include fight cards on at least nine television networks."

"PBC announced it would continue to have fights on ESPN/ESPN Deportes, Fox, Fox Sports 1/Fox Deportes, NBC, Spike, Bounce TV and Showtime, as well as potential bouts on CBS, Showtime's sister network."

"PBC rolls out its 2017 schedule"

FOX will broadcast three primetime network shows, the first on February 25. NBC will air three primetime shows in the second half of 2017, beginning on Sept. 23. ESPN plans to do 12 shows from April to August with the first show set for April 14.

Moreover, FS1 plans to broadcast 25 shows, running from February-October. Spike will do shows as part of its Combat Sports Friday platform, beginning with a card on Jan. 13. Bounce TV will feature a quarterly card with the first broadcast on March. 31 and between four and six shows in 2017.

I hate to say “I told you so”, but I really did! All you guys automatically jumping to all sorts of negative conclusions, when all it took was a bit of patience!
